How can I get some idea of whether these two platforms are worth it for a small business just starting with paid advertising with a monthly budget of about $150 for now compared to advertising with Google Facebook or Instagram?

    Facebook ads are really beneficial. You can also run personalized campaigns on Linkedin using marketing automation tools. These two are good options that too within budget.

    I think it depends on your product type, becasue of what peoples are preferring to buy from the recommended links or what not. Like clothes, jewelry, wooden objects, home decoration, and much more that peoples prefer to buy go through social media accounts. But if you are buying electronic items, something technical things, then there are less changes to do marketing on social platforms.

    But still, you have asked which platform is best, then I would like to recommend Facebook and Instagram.
