    Seems one of the final robot/automation-resistant industries. Add to that that the barriers to entry for becoming a creator (non traditional at least ... Film and TV seem intent to keep the steel gates up for a little while longer at least) are low and getting lower and it's certainly something worthy of attention/pursuit for a good swath of people.

      robotics and automation will better enable creative endeavors around the world .. and especially outside the west ..and USA ..

      spot the robot dog cost 75,000 dollars .. but boston dynamics in more into building cool robots than selling robots .. and there are companies in asia with similar robots that are already under 10,000 ..

      as this catches on almost every country will have their own production companies creating content for that country . or in the language of the country .. instead of the dubbing foreign content into the local language ..

        I would agree that robotics will (and already are) augment creativity, but still generally believe robots "won't become creative" themselves until a distant future that involves real Artificial General Intelligence (which could spell the end of jobs anyway). All by way of saying, I'd contend that, the more one's job involves the use of creativity (not well understood how that works in the brain), the "safer" one is from a robotic replacement (in the near/mid term at least ... longer down the road, who knows)

          a drone with a camera on it is now a few hundred buck ..and you see many content creators buying them and putting the footage in their videos .. i am factoring in the drop in costs of robots as they get better and become more suitable for consumer markets so robots and automation will follow the same path as computers and cellphones ..

    Italy and France probably have the strongest creative cultures of Europe, and perhaps of the world. They're also basket cases with chronic unemployment and weak GDP growth.

    With internet penetration, Africa is slowly accepting the creative industry. Social media has really changed things. There are more You-tubers and IG influencers that are joining the creative industry.



    Content creation both for entertainment and marketing is in deed growing.
    Its a great start for Africa and more African nations need to invest in the necessary infrastructure to support it.



    I believe Africans can tell their stories better when given the chance as compared to someone in the West seated in a newsroom that has no touch with things on the ground.
