I'll buy the beer if you can help me figure out how to embed video and paypal into my offer

Can someone give me some advice here? I've used the test forum to try to embed video and paypal code into my next offer.

I toggled to the HTML side, but when I previewed and posted, it still shows up as the code itself and not the videos or the paypal button.

Can anyone help me?

if you want to embed a youtube video, all you do is post the URL of the page the video is on. same goes for google video.

for the paypal button, you have 2 choices, make an encrypted button and link your order button to the Cloaked URL paypal gives you.

      or

send them to a page on your site with just an encrypted paypal button.

I don't know about the test forum but when I want to embed these items
into a web page I just paste the code into the html screen of my WYSIWYG
    editor.

    Have you done that?

TSnyder, Yes, I toggled over to the html side of the WYSIWYG.

Devan... I'll send you a PM.. it's up on the test forum, you can see it all right there... all the code is showing up.

        You're confusing me now... lol

You said you were trying to do this in the test forum. As said above, this can't
        be done on this forum.

I'm talking about the WYSIWG editor on your computer... MS Front Page,
Dream Weaver , etc. If you paste the code into your editor the items will
        appear on your web page.

Jose, There are three videos.. that's one of them, but not the first one. The first one should be a video of a girl on Miami Beach.

          TSnyder,
I dont' want to send anyone to a sales page, I want to have the paypal button right in the WSO. And I could have sworn that I've seen paypal buttons in WSO's in the past.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I've never seen
a Pay Pal button in a WSO... that's why we had the Buy Me A Beer
            function in the old forum.

As for the video, you don't use the embed code... just the url of the page
the video appears on in You Tube.

What you need to do is use either my "Buy Me a Drink" feature or my new "WSO Pro".

WSO Pro is currently being beta-tested and you can get a beta license for $1. It will do what you want (and maybe even more than you expect).

Check out this thread for more info:
            http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...offer-pro.html

Regarding videos, they should work just fine by copy/pasting the YouTube URL (not the embed code) directly into your post.

I failed to mention how the "Buy Me a Drink" feature works.

    1) You need a WarriorPlus account with your Paypal address on file. If you don't have one, you can set it up here: http://www.warriorplus.com/user/new.cfm

    2) The "Buy Me a Drink" links are as follows
    http://www.warriorplus.com/buybeer/warrior+username
    http://www.warriorplus.com/buydrink/warrior+username

So, for me it is: http://www.warriorplus.com/buydrink/mikelantz

And, for Marcus it would be: http://www.warriorplus.com/buydrink/Corwinnx

You can also add a dollar amount after your name and it will automatically send that amount to Paypal, like this:

    http://www.warriorplus.com/buybeer/mikelantz/10.00

And, like I mentioned in the above post, the "WSO Pro" system does far more than this, even delivering your WSOs for you.

    Hope this helps.

    Mike
