Hello all

I just got this in an email today

The other big change coming is on Feb 26th, PayPal may not appear on all Clickbank order forms.

There are a bunch of hoops for vendors to have to jump through now, so a lot of us are scrambling to get all our changes done in time.

It shouldn't be an issue, but if it is, it might cause some conversion drops for some products that you promote in the short term.

In the long term, all vendors of top selling items, should get this resolved.

But just be aware, if you see any sales decrease after that date, go look at that order form on the product you are promoting.

If PayPal is missing, perhaps pause your ads and contact the vendor and give them the hurry up to get that resolved
I have not verified this yet but for those of you promoting clickbank products, like the email says, contact those vendors and make sure they have made the necessary changes.

Have you considered trying alternative payment measures ?

Have you considered reading posts before you answer them. I am merely sharing information, it has nothing to do with me selling anything. it has everything to do with people promoting as affiliates, and vendors that might not be up to date with paypal and clickbank, thus costing them commissions from lost sales

This is not about accepting payments, this is about being an affiliate and vendors not updating paypal on their clickbank paymant page.

It is about them possibly losing commissions and wasting money on paid ads

    Hi

I run a website where I manage Subscriptions for certain recurring products. I was recently informed that I needed to connect PayPal direct to Clickbank. The documentation I just read seems to suggest that JV contracts will not work with PayPal, which completely bombs my business model, as I need to profit share with the guys I work with.

It seems like a bizarre decision on clickbank/PayPal's part, as they can collect affiliate commissions before paying out the final fee, so why not JV commissions also?

Does anyone have any experience with this? Any work arounds?

Guys, I think the latest from Clickbank means that this is not going to be as bad as first thought.

They seem to have been working with Paypal to get things as close to how they were before as possible.

    Howdy

I run a site where I oversee Subscriptions for certain repetitive items. I was as of late educated that I expected to associate PayPal direct to Clickbank. The documentation I just read implies that JV agreements won't work with PayPal, which totally bombs my plan of action, as I need to benefit share with the folks I work with.

It appears to be a strange choice on clickbank/PayPal's part, as they can gather offshoot commissions prior to paying out the last expense, so why not JV commissions too?

Does anybody have any involvement in this? Any work arounds?

I think it's worrying times ahead for PayPal. I've been an eBay trader since 2011 and always got paid by PayPal. It was the best thing about it getting paid instantly but now I have to wait xx days to get paid.

With Clickbank I always get something come up about PayPal not sure what it is to do with but honestly I have had some very strange activity on my account.

Twice I've noticed this ~ it's shown a load of sales on my account and they've disappeared. The 2nd fortunately I was able to take a screenshot. I didn't get paid but they said this was to do with PayPal because people didn't complete checkout.

Maybe why they are stopping it but very strange to me. I'm actually very suspect of them - I've got over 1200 hops in the past month, 100's of order form impressions but no sales.

I don't know what the f is up with it - very odd.

Long time ago I used to sell several resell rights products as well as a few stuff of my own, on Clickbank, as a vendor! For each of these products I had a separate sales page where I would sell them using a different payment processor, PayPal.

Has anyone managed to integrate Paypal with Clickbank? What the heck is a "Master account"?

They've pretty much killed their business with this. I'm going to move my products to another payment processor. Paypal is annoying but customers still trust it and the majority of my sales are paid for using it.

While you can't have ClickBank store straightforwardly to your PayPal account, you can utilize PayPal and your financial balance to get to your organization's ClickBank instalments through PayPal.

I would not be surprised if the connection between CB and PP breaks up. PP is constantly shutting down accounts that have anything to do with internet/affiliate marketing...

And when you do business and sell online accepting PP - beware. Your money is not safe with PayPal - and I'm talking from my own experience.

I have been using paypal both personally and for business with zero problems since 2005.

Almost every person who has had issues with Paypal did something that violated their terms of service. usually, people do not take a few minutes to upgrade their account to a business account, it is free and simple process

We were used for ClickBank to work as a reseller, dealing with the money taking, invoicing to customers, etc. Probably they have problems with PayPal, and they cant take payments from them anymore.

There are other options for reselling digital products, like Paddle, Digital River, but Clickbank is focused on online marketing products.

I am not sure if anyone is understanding this at all.

They do not have problems with Paypal. What happened was a simple system upgrade and vendors need to make some changes to their sales/checkout pages. Nothing major.

All this was about was for affiliates to check their links and make sure the payments were processed correctly for the products they are promoting, if not then you need to contact them to make sure they have made the necessary changes.

I know what to do, but I wanted get a good explanation of what is happening under the hood for sellers.

Before this change, Clickbank was collecting PayPal payments on their own account, and then distributed the money to sellers and affiliates.

Now, when someone pays with PayPal, the money goes into the sellers account, which is obligated to send the affiliate commissions and fees to ClickBank.
