    Why?
    It is a useless metric that no search engine uses to rank sites.
    But, if you must increase it, then it is increased by getting more links to the site.

    Take out a piece of paper, write on it "My domain's MOZ authority just shot through the roof."

    Why?

    Because MOZ domain authority is that useless.
