How is this done?

Hi guys.

I have come across a web page in some website, one of those pages where the webmaster gives you instructions to link exchange. I guess you know those kind of pages, where they put the HTML code of their link in a text box so you can copy it and put it in your website. Well, this page in particular got my attention because when I refreshed the page the text changed to other, and again and again. I think that is pretty cool.

Maybe this is a newbie question but, how do they do that?

That would be such a great help for me.

Thanks

  • A link would be helpful.

    • They undoubtedly have a piece of javascript rotating through a database of links to display every time the page loads, but if you want a specific answer, you'll need to provide a link as Sumit Menon suggested.

      Cheers,

  • Please provide the link to be sure what are we talking about.
It is probably some kind of script installed on the site. But, without checking it`s source it is not thankful to discuss in advance. So, please provide the link or be more specific and describe exactly what you need. Thanks
