Niche Research Question

Apologies if this question has been answered elsewhere, I have searched and am unable to find a definitive answer.

I'm calling on some Niche Research experts for some guidance.

I'm working from X-Factors Micro Niche Adsense course and have been getting along quite well. When doing some keyword research today, I've been using Micro Niche Finder to research a long tail keyword, it's got about 6000 local search and 8000 global, with 17 SOC. When I check the keyword in Spyfu, the advertisers come back as N/A.

My question, does this mean there are no advertisers bidding for this exact keyword?

Therefore this keyword would not be suitable for Micro Niche Adsense

Would it be better suited for Amazon Affiliate sales?

The keyword is very specific!

Thanks in advance guys!

Sometimes spyfu won't produce any results. Try using Google's keywords tool and select the CPC from the drop down menu.

Try just checking google by putting the phrase in quotes and looking for the sponsored ad links down the right hand side, that way you will know for sure.

      Alan & Yves,

Thank-you for your advice, tried that and it all looks good to go!!

One thing I did notice though, is that Micro Niche Finder and Google Keyword Tools results were way off, both set to exact match.

On further digging I noticed that Google's Keyword Tool was defaulted to UK, I set this to 'All Countries and Territories' and the results completely match now.

Because of this, I was beginning to doubt MNFs results, but seeing the same results in Google's Keyword Tool has put my mind at ease to say the least!!

      Thanks again guys!
