I suggest you spend a couple of hours reading

  and search for titles such as "affiliate marketing"
  and/or "passive income."
  
  I would advise you to do this before you try to

  you can get it in all kind of places facebook, instagram, reddit, twitter, youtube, pinterest etc..

Don't buy anything!

There's no need to spend money if you don't have to.

However, it sounds like you might have been buying bot traffic.

Go to YouTube and watch videos on Affiliate Marketing Traffic Sources.

Why spend money on books when you get to learn for free.

Don't get me wrong, there are some great books out there, but if you don't have the money to spend, learn what you can for free first and then move on from there.

Maybe you should spend more money on your traffic source, do some research, test different sources, because now it looks like that you have no live traffic.
It doesn't work like that, you can't get cheap and HQ traffic in the same time, if it's not SEO, which require a lot of time and efforts

Try to combine youtube and romantic stories. Stories always sell.
Don't put affiliate links directly on youtube or other social networks, create a prelanding page or a bridge page.

Try Google ads, Microsoft Ads, BuySellAds, or find websites and blogs in your niche that you can advertise on. Its simple. Dont buy junk random traffic where the origin source doesnt make sense for your business.

Bad traffic? ....yes and not!
Conversions depend by many factors on your website, we can't say the problem is the traffic only.

PPCMate and Popcash were pretty good for me, and they send cheap traffic.

Maybe your space is too competitive or saturated? do you know your converting metrics well? Are you promoting an offer that is better than others?

Get conversions from Organic sources first and then buy good and targeted traffic and be aware of bot traffic.
