Steady commissions with a 3 page affiliate funnel?

It has been a long time since I was an active member of the warrior forum and was time to come back to where I first got started.

I wanted to share with you all an affiliate funnel I have been using for a few years know in multiple niches that anyone can use to promote affiliate products.

This short post is meant to give you the structure behind how the funnel is built, the pages I use and the email structure I add to the email follow ups.

It works for me, and if you want you can test it out.

First I want to share how the funnel looks with a short image.

As you can see in the picture above, this funnel consists of 3 simple pages anyone can build.

The first page is the capture page, we all know we need to build a list, so the first page is where we send our traffic to make sure we build our list of subscribers.

The second page is the thank you page. This page has a built-in redirect.
By adding this redirect, every time a new lead signs up to my funnel I can redirect them to an affiliate offer as soon as they sign up and generate some commissions.
Important though, is to pre-frame this page so the new subscribers don't get confused.

I would add something along the lines of...

Thank you for requesting your free gift. Your download link has been sent.
In the meantime...

I found something amazing about XX and I want you to see it too...

You are being redirected in 3...2...1...

At this point we have a capture page built to build our list.
We have a thank you page that can helps us generate commissions from every new lead easily...

The last page in our funnel is the download page.
This page is pretty explanatory.

We use this page to deliver our free gift to our new subscribers.
A lot of affiliates however miss out on this page profit opportunity.

What I normally do is add an offer wall to increase my earnings potential.

An offer wall is simple 2-3 offers added to the download page.
So every time a new subscriber arrives at this page, they can not only
download their free gift but they can also click on the related offers.

If they click and they buy or sign up, depending on what you are promoting
the more money you can generate.

This funnel is very simple and it works like a charm.

Off course the key to making a funnel like this work is to have a quality giveaway product
and to hand picked the right affiliate offers to promote within your funnel.

For example.

Let' say I am giving a way a quality report to build an email list.

I could add affiliate products about hosting, about software tools required to build the list,
about traffic to generate leads even about how to write better emails to generate sales with an email follow up...

Hope that makes sense.

Now that we have covered the funnel.

I want to show you the email sequence I use with this funnels.

It's a generic email sequence and I have tested it in multiple niches.

The email sequence:

E-mail #1 - Download link e-mail.

This e-mail is meant to give your new leads access to their free gift.
When people arrive at your download page, you can make money when your subscribers click on your banner ad promoting your affiliate product.

E-mail #2 - Download Link reminder

This second e-mail reminds your leads of their download and where they can find the report they signed up for in case they didn't already download it. It gives you also an excuse to promote your affiliate product on the download page. So when your subscribers go to your download page again, you have a second chance to get them to click on your affiliate products.

E-mail #3 - Affiliate Product - Promise and results e-mail

From e-mail 3 to 7 we are going to be promoting our second affiliate product or the same product if you want. This first e-mail will inform them of the affiliate product. In this email I like to write about a big promise about the affiliate product and some of the results that product will get the user if they buy it. Your subscribers are looking to get instant results, instant gratification is a great motivator for people.

E-mail #4 - Affiliate Product - Problem/Solution e-mail

This email will promote again your affiliate product but this time, this email needs to focus on the problems or problem your specific market has and how they can solve it by purchasing the product you are recommending.

E-mail #5 - Affiliate Product - Social Proof -email

This next email is meant to show your subscribers that other people are using the same product and achieving results. Social proof is a great motivator for people to purchase products. If the product you are promoting has testimonials as most people do, this is the time you will take one or two specific ones and use them in your e-mail to let your subscribers know that they can expect similar results if they buy the product. This e-mail is meant to move your subscriber close to the sale.

E-mail #6 - Affiliate Product - Question & Answer E-mail

Sometimes people don't buy your recommendations because they don't know what they are getting or what they can expect by purchasing. In this e-mail I like to explain them about what they are getting and how they will achieve the results they want. It is also a good opportunity for you to reiterate by answering some questions they might have.

E-mail #7 - Affiliate Product - Scarcity E-mail

This is the last e-mail in your follow up sequence. This e-mail is intended to remind them
That this will be your last e-mail about the product you are recommending. Some of the products you will be promoting will be evergreen, meaning they won't have any scarcity built in for you to use in your promotion however, make sure you let them know, if they don't buy now, they will miss out. List again quickly all the reasons why they should buy, the problems they can solve and the results they will achieve by purchasing the product.

Off course you can always modify the sequence and make it your own.
You can also add more emails if you want adding bonuses.

Adding bonuses will give you a reason to inject real scarcity if you are promoting an affiliate product otherwise email 7 will be harder to pull off.

In my experience if I am not giving away any bonuses on my promotion the scarcity is that they will receive no more emails from me promoting it...not a big deal of scarcity, but at this point, I have hammered them with the offer in the whole email sequence...

Now let me ask you, have you used this specific funnel before?

How has it worked for you?

Want to share your experience? Maybe we can all learn a bit more on how to improve it or
even how to make the email sequence more powerful...

Either way I hope you guys find this content helpful.

Looking forward to some replies ;-)

Lucas

There are multiple ways to drive traffic.
      I usually prefer paid traffic.
It's the fastest way to test your funnel.
A good source to start is bing ads.
But you have fb, adwords as well.

I would recommend focusing on 100-300 clicks to see how your funnel does.
If it converts you can scale it up.

With free traffic it will take you longer...

Free traffic would be the usual methods, youtube videos, fb groups, forums, pinterest etc.

I created my own plugin that does that for me.

Otherwise it depends on what you are using to build your funnel?
You can search on google for a redirect code with javascript or html redirect, i remember years ago finding that for free..
