I'm curious to know how the new IOS update will affect affiliate marketing going forward?

That's not a very specific question. What aspects of the update are you referring to? What kind of affiliate marketing do you mean?

I believe they are referring to update 14.5 and the "enforcement" of the tracking transparency prompt.

Im not so sure it really effects "Affiliate Marketers" as much as it might effect those that are tracking Apple users using the IDFA data ( the code that each device has ) Using IDFA data you can identify return visitors etc and do redirects etc, and Apple is cracking down on this - IE cracking down on the use of personal data - from outside the Apple eco system.

I personally think this doesn't affect affiliates much at all if affiliates are focused on growing their lists and then marketing to their lists vs trying to send cold traffic to an offer directly. If they're smart, they're building a foundation of trust first before making sales.

I think, it will only affect in audience creation....
