Best way to research for a "winning" product?

What are the steps one should follow to select a winning/converting product (any niche)?



I generally follow this:

1. See the gravity/EPC first.

2. Then I check for its search volume on Google Ads Keyword planner.

3, Check reviews on Google/ YouTube if it's there.

      Actually I am talking in context of Affiliate Marketing. I wanted to know of ways to research for a product to promote through ads (like Google Ads).


      Like is the product really helpful for people?
      Overall feedback of the product so that I can have the confidence that the product is genuinely good one and will give my good conversions (leaving aside the campaign part)

        You sell a product for $97.

        So you got a sale.

        Now because you got the customer, they would be willing to buy more from you if you got more stuff to sell on the backend.

        Now you can offer them more products that can bank you anywhere between $500-$thousands of dollars depending on the product.

        Do more research on that.

        Never sell a product that earns you, for example, $97 and then you always rely on generating the NEXT sale to keep your business going.

    Everything is not about keywords and PPC.

    Different types of products' popularity and sell-through rates
    are researched differently.

    If you want to know what type of detergent people are buying
    you would probably check Amazon's best sellers lists.

    If you want to know which WordPress themes are hot right
    now you'd research those statistics.

    And on and on.

    You need to be flexible and use what's available for the
    various products.

    Testing the product is always good before promoting it that way you can write a personalized review that is honest. Many products come with a trial period that allows you to test them out as well. Well trusted people who have put out great products in the past is another good way to recognize a winning product.

    My strategy has been picking niches and products with low competition so I can maximize sales through both organic and paid methods. 1000 visits a month on low competition products are real winners.
