spent $300 and 0 sales [CLICKBANK]

Hi, I've tried promoting 3 Clickbank products on Bing ads. I used direct links in my campaigns so I didn't use any custom landinage page. The thing is that none of my ads have tasted success.

I've got 100+ hops on each of those all 3 products but 0 sale as of now. All 3 products have Gravity>70.

I figure that my keyword strategy is feeble. I've used good keywords phrase match and exact match both consisting product name and buyer intent keywords like review, discount and offer etc. But still no sale yet.

What should I do? I'm losing hope.

Not many people will be ready to buy right away after clicking an ad.. especially if its a digital product like clickbank. To me, that's your issue, not the keywords you are targeting. They've never seen your product before, they don't trust who's selling it or really understand how it will solve their problems.

You need to develop a relationship with your visitors and offer them value first before selling them something. PPC ads to a squeeze page would work better and you also get multiple opportunities to sell to them through email instead of hoping for the best.

The things you are missing are all the things you do before you send traffic to clickbank. That's the content marketing, lead nurturing, value giving.. the things that make people like you, trust you, and trust your recommendations.

This is all part of the learning process.

Some things work and some things don't.

You need to assess what happened, what you could
have done differently, whether the products you were
advertising were in demand, and keep trying different
    methods until something works.

    Don't give up.

    Hi,

Your method is not good , Do not use direct links in your campaigns. Instead of this you should setup and wordpress site and then publish reviews of products on your site. Then you can put your website link in your campaign that is I am doing from last 12 years and getting good results. A review site is very good and you can capture yout visitor email also so that you can send them some mails regularly and promote the products.

I suggest you to setup a review site and do some SEO and build some quality backlinks so that you can get free targeted traffic from google and other search engine. Invest in your website not spend money in the PPC.

    Thanks
    Amar

    Don't lose hope. Don't quit.

One strategy I can give you right now is to NEVER send any traffic directly to an offer.

Always collect people's name and email address so that you can follow up with them.

Be different from all other affiliates who are promoting the same offer and you will make sales.

With list building, the fortune is in the follow up.

        First, congratulations on messing up!

Seriously, if you are having issues and doubts about what you are doing, it's a clear sign that what you are doing is taking you out of your comfort zone, which is the best you can do for yourself.

Now, as mentioned before, if you are sending traffic directly to an offer (without collecting people's emails) you are wasting your opportunity to continue promoting the same product to those same customers who have already seen it from you. If you create your email list, you will have the chance to promote even different products in the same niche as long as you keep them engaged (opening your emails).

There is no shortage of information about what list building is, I suggest you start there.

And never stop breaking stuff, go out there and keep messing up.

Where do they land when they click on your link? I mean, is that a page that has an optin form on it?

If yes, you're making sales but the owner of the product gets the credit.

You send them there, they see a Get This Amazing Thingie by giving me your email address, they give the email address, get the Thingie and get added to the product owner's email list, then they get emails from the product owner and some of them buy. The product owner sees them responding to their email and gives you no credit.

Always send your leads to pages that do not have optin forms on them or next to them.

I always thought that this is what happens, and so I don't
promote offers that go to somebody else's signup page.

      Thank you for confirming this.

    Affltr's comment made me LOL!

There are tons of great products on ClickBank but a few of
them really are garbage. You have to be very selective about
which items you promote and if you find something good that
converts, you really can make decent money with ClickBank.

I have the same problem but I send the traffic to the product review on my blog first

You spent $300 and lost hope already?

When I first ran paid ads, I spent a few grand before making anything.

Never send paid traffic to a hop link or aff product straight up.

If that works, everyone would be Millionaires.

Have patience with yourself while you learn.

Also, your offer must be presented as a 'solution' to your prospects problem.

Experienced marketers first create a problem that your prospects have and then offer your product as the solution.

Send traffic to a blog post that 'expands' on the problem and then prime them for your product.

The blog post should then redirect them to a lead capture page and redirect them to a a sales page using an email autoresponder.

Then follow up using email Marketing.

The affiliate program I promote has hundreds of videos - I just send them to the website first with a tracking system in place and receive the credit for years not months or weeks. Then I use one of their videos that I know based on metrics that this audience will respond.

If the affiliate program is a dud, forget about it - you're just wasting electrons.

Last but not least I believe in the integrity of the product and that it exceeds the customer's expectations which translates to residual income from a single happy camper.

It is very hard to earn profit sending traffic directly to the offer.
Email marketing will work better. Build your list and do remarketing.

If you still prefer promoting traffic directly, you should bid on branded keywords.

Even me, I dont buy things right away, either they will buy later or never.
Did you try fb, or google ads?

I work in this business and know all traps you can fall into. Be careful especially with keywords.
And one more thing, if one platform doesnt work, try another one.

    Good luck

I personally recommend looking into the solo ad vendors Igor Kheifets recommends.
Iam not saying it does not work as I know CJ Mollo here at WF has made a Living buying solo ads and building his list that way. But honest to goodness I tried Solo Ads and most were rehashed garbage Leads that were not Buyers at all.

So I scrapped it after awhile. For some it may work but for me and I know countless others it has been a fruitless venture with solo ads and building an email list that way.

I recommend you change to building an email list, so you can promote a series of products to the same people.

And note that ClickBank requires you to make a specific number of sales within a specific period, and from more than one payment type, for you to get paid . . . which is a disaster for a beginner . . . make a few commissions, and, if you don't meet their requirements, you get NOTHING for your efforts. At least most of the other platforms will pay you, after a while, even for a single commission.
