0 Sales on Clickbank High gravity woodworking product with 400+ Hops with targeted traffic.

It could be a number of things:


- The temperature of the traffic - meaning if they have no idea about woodworking, they're aware of the problem, or they know you, and are just looking to buy.

- It could also be the traffic - might not be buyers but tyre kickers
- Might be that the sales page doesn't convert. Has it had sales, does it have a decent gravity?


You may be better sending the traffic to your list, then sending that traffic to the offer, after warming it up?

Unless you know what you're doing, I recommend that you
end this FB ad campaign. Try to figure out free methods of
promoting your affiliate offers like blogging or YouTube.
Stop wasting money on things that don't work for you.

Does the sale page have an email opt in form?

If yes, your prospects join the seller's list and buy from the seller's emails and you get no credit.

You are targeting a single product.
You are sending cold traffic to a sales page
Paid traffic direct to a ClickBank product will almost never give you a positive return.


I know you said "targeted traffic" but that simply means you are trying to filter out people not interested in woodworking using your ad content and possibly geo targeting. This traffic may be "slightly" targeted but not lazer targeted.


All traffic costs a lot of money these days. That is simply due to competition for traffic. As a newbie you will NOT have the skills to beat experienced marketers. They will create a much higher return on their ad investment partly due to experience with ads and partly because they have a large backend funnel that will pay them more than a single product. This means they can bid or pay more for their traffic.


To make any paid traffic work for affiliate marketing you will need to capture emails. Build a list and then market to your propects via that list.


That way they will be getting traffic/offers from someone they know (over time) and you can promote as many products as you want to the same "traffic".


That way if one offer does not convert another may. And many (if happy with the products you promote) will buy more products from you.


On the specific question about 400 hops and no sales...No-one will know unless they have all your ad stats and hop data and sales pages etc. Even then it may not be possible to say why you are not making any sales.


Often it's best to just accept it does not work and move on. If you build a list that is very easy to do at no extra cost to you.

FB's traffic is rubbish. Consumers mostly trust Brands with deep pockets to interact with. But it is funny seeing the competition invest thousands and then vanish off the map.Blind leading the blind? Monkey see, monkey do syndrome?
