What to do if MMO Traffic manager say not to stop.

A few months ago, I opened an expensive traffic account that has sent me traffic every day.

I've now been able to build a list of 2,433 active mmo subscribers and made quite a lot of sales.

It's now the end and I realize that I got to focus on my list before I can go back and start running traffic again...

But my advertising manager demands that I keep running traffic because of the momentum I've been building.

I'm having a hard time deciding what to do with it and I would be more than interested to hear
any suggestions that you have.

Thanks

  • There's something I'm not clear on .. does your advertising manager work for you or do you work for him/her?

  • These are not mutually exclusive activities.

If all you've got to do is focus on your list and run traffic to it, the following work quite nicely:
4 hours a day on the list, 4 hours a day on the traffic
3 hours a day on the list, 5 hours a day on the traffic
5 hours a day on the list, 3 hours a day on the traffic.

There are a few more permutations possible, but you get the idea.

One thing I can tell you about growing a business: either / or thinking doesn't help all the time.

Most of the time, you want to go with "and".

  • You said you made a lot of sales using the traffic so why stop? If the sales can cover the traffic costs it is virtually free list building.
