Have you ever deleted an app due to privacy concerns?

There are apps that require elevated access, e.g. access to contacts when it doesn't feel like it should be an essential part of enjoying the app's features.

If you download the app from app store, don't worry about that.

Sorry, this is wrong. Both Apple and Google app stores are full of apps that have malware. They have a hard time keeping them out. Just read the news.

Are you sure all apps from either stores (Google and Appe) are safe?

      Google, in particular?

I keep very few apps on my phone. I will download most, use it for whatever be it credit card or insurance or whatever, do what I have to do, and then remove the app until the next time i need it.

As you correctly mention... accessing contacts.
Most of the apps don't need my contacts but it's something all of them are after.

yes I have deleted some apps as soon as I have downloaded them. Snapchat was the fastest deleted app ever. I didn't even create an account and snapchat video was already active. That was enough for me to delete it quicker than it downloaded.

Only use apps that you know and have good reviews. Using new apps is entirely at your own risk so make a bit of research to make sure they're safe.
