Need Your Suggestion In IM

Hey warriors, I am just confused in the world of IM. You can also say I have been a victim of "Shiny object syndrome". I have been blogging since 2 years but recently thought of quitting it and started providing blogging related services. It was going good but after I took holiday of a week, it was not the same. I started getting too much difficulties in getting clients and I know it's very common in service industry. But now, I am thinking of honing my skill. Earlier I was giving web development and SEO service, but now I am thinking to learn funnels so I can offer that as my service.

So, long story short, what will you suggest, should I continue with SEO and web development or I can start learning funnels too. Will appreciate all your insights and suggestions.

Learn about how to set up. Funnel. Build a list and sell offers to that list.

I also think you need to learn about creating your funnel. Also web 2.0 blogging is good for long term marketing.

I believe the two, web development and funnels work hand-in-hand. It's good you want to learn funnels. I see it as an expansion of your web development services.

I looked for some web definitions of a funnel:
One said that a funnel describes the process you create to attract potential buyers to your website and guide them to take some desired action and another one said a funnel is the series of steps a website visitor takes from initial page view to purchase. Therefore websites are a put of funnel building.

You should continue with SEO and web development AND start learning funnels too.

There are people who sell websites that do little for the owner. There are people who sell SEO that do little for the owner.

You can position yourself as the seller of websites and SEO that not only get visitors but convert them into leads / buyers.

Your competition will be lower, your fees higher.

Either way, a lot of it comes down to positioning. If you've run into difficulties getting clients before, you might still have that even if you learn a new skill.

By the way, if you set up a funnel for yourself...i.e., if people come to you via a landing page and some emails, for instance, you've gotten proof that you know what you're doing.

    How are you positioning yourself?

I ask because I get a lot of pitches from people that sell what you sell and they're all one long blur. (With one or two exceptions in 10 years.)

I think you could continue to provide the services you provide already and at the same time learn new skills to offer even more services.

everyone went or will go through a Shiny Object Syndrome (SOS)
I went through this multiple times and believe me its so frustrating.

Try to eliminate everything what can potentialy grab your focus, YOU MUST FOCUS ON ONE THING.
Give that "thing" certain time but work 100% hard and focused! Lets say 6 months?
If nothing happens and you will feel like not enjoying it, just switch to something else something completely different.

Why you need to stop SEO and web designing? Just add the funnel service alongside SEO and web design, they are correlated to each other anyway.

I don't think OP is here with this topic anymore.
