Thanks for this! This is invaluable content. My only concern is ...isn't it getting harder and harder to stand out with all the millions , maybe billions of websites out there in the ether? My hope is the cream will always rise to the top! Good Luck Internet Marketers!!

A lot of people really working hard on their on-page content. The bottom line is you need to put something useful on the table, if it's a boring piece of the page then you won't get to stand out on SERP.

I figured that content marketing would have quite a boom but I wasn't expecting it to happen this soon. The pandemic really started a lot of things but the biggest has got to be online shopping.

With that said, since everyone is running online to find a (honest) review, now content creators all over have to step up their game. 'Cause the more people that go online searching, the more the content creator has to provide to keep up with their competition.

At least competition is a good thing; it shows that there's opportunity in that market/niche.

We just have to make our USP's different (unique selling proposition) so we can stand out.

One way I'm going to have to consider is to reformat my content for video and audio purposes. We are that far into this digital age that print medium and article marketing/blogging medium is starting to not gain as much traction as it used to. It still pulls, but compared to a video or audio, not so much.

Now, since the price of ads is going up (because of the online shopping boom, web 3.0, saturation, etc.) I might as well jump in some paid ads while it's still somewhat cheap so my site can get more exposure LOL.

SEJ nailed it on the head with SEARCH INTENT

For the longest time, SEO has always focused on "TARGETING" the right keywords

On the surface, this sounds legit but it often translates into just merely mentioning the keyword in 'the right places' of content

There was really no focus on DELIVERING ON THE INTENT behind such kws.

People types those kws into Google for a REASON

Focus your content on that REASON and you gain a competitive advantage.
