What if you hate to create content?

Hey guys,

I want to start a business on the Internet but I hate to create content.

Is there a way I can build a business on the Internet even if I hate to create content?

Many thanks,
microhappiness

    Ask yourself this question:

How can I start something on the Internet without content?

You can always pay for it. But the owner still needs to check the quality of the content so it's not a hands-off situation.

Depending on the project, sometimes you don't have to create content. For example, in a forum, the users create the content.

    Content pays.

So no matter how much we hate it just find the way that best suits your comfort zones.

A popular YouTube Channel like Alux.com has millions of subscribers and seems like a corporation almost but it is just one guy that outsources a real person to voice over the videos, another to edit etc.

Infotaining content topics over luxury, entrepreneur, and self development niches.

There are people that review others content and creating unique content.

Podcasts, photos, video shorts, or even creating a new platform/community where user engagement creates your content for you are all cool options.

Depends what you mean by content.

Can you be successful without articles and YouTube videos? Do you need trip wires, lead magnets funnels and the rest? No

Just the right product placed in front of buyers. Etsy, Rebubble, EBay and Amazon all allow you to do this without 'content'.

Import them via RSS/JSON feeds from other sites. I mead do the same as Google News, Yahoo News and other content aggregators do.

Course you can spin it, modify etc is case if that's not against the rules of the sites you get content from.

If you really hate to create the content that much, then I guess the only reasonable choice for you would be to either pay someone to do this instead of you, like some copywriter and similar, or you could use some AI generator that will do this task for you, here the only thing that would be required from you is to insert some keywords and phrases that you want to be used in your articles.

Truth to be told, you can also choose to do some jobs that aren't so closely related to writing like affiliate marketing, dropshipping, investing in cryprocurrencies, and similar. Here you maybe need only to prepare the content for your site, but that's basically it as you don't need to invest too much energy in writing.

Short answer yes, long answer: find what or why exactly you hate to create content, chances are you just hate certain type of content or you hate creating content for a reason that is fixable.

  • I understand what you mean--most people associate content with work. Creating content is just communication and connection. It's something innate quality, and we can't survive without wanting to communicate. So if you change your perspective a bit think about reaching out to people instead of creating content for the internet, you might find the process more bearable.

Hey Microhappiness, the truth is- "You can't really build a solid internet business without content." It's evident from the fact that before you have to run a ad , you have to create content for that ad. It can be that you can hire somebody to create the content for you.

Unfortunately, that is pretty challenging as that is how the internet revolves. It can be stupid content that gets a million clicks or long thought out content that gets a million clicks.

Try starting by answering this..if you could only talk about 1 thing for the rest of your life, what would you talk about?

That's a good place to research and see if you can make money around that one thing. Because you will have to create content of some sort.

Content is King in my opinion but I mean quality content and the only way to really get that is to pay for it or do it yourself.

I have however been very impressed with some of the new AI bots like Typli which push out some decent content it still needs to be reviewed but overall saves a ton of time and quite acceptable with a few edits.

The easiest content to creates is blog articles or posts, you can outsource this and still maintain a high standard. You will still need to do you keyword research but for writing the content you can outsource to writers. So yes you can still make money online with a display ad or affiliate blog.

You can create basic content in a small, limited amount.

I've seen some people excel online with just a squeeze page, a freebie offer, an email marketing sequence, and a high priced product... and just drive traffic with paid advertising with no recurring new content being created.

Late to the party, but it seems easy to me:
    1. start a business that does not require content (sell pots on Ebay, for instance).
    2. learn to love creating content (has happened before).
    3. buy the content you need (lots of people do it, take a look at The New Yorker or Le Monde or...)
    4. use ads to drive traffic to your sales page.
    5. curate content. (Take a look at this site: https://99u.adobe.com/... Lots of content... curated not created by the site owner.)

Content creation is promoted as the way to go for people who have no money but have time... And people forget that there are other ways.

And a lot of people are confused about what content is, think that content is articles that have at least n-number of words. It is not. You can have 30 words on a page and nothing else, 30 words and 3 photos, or only photos, or videos.

By the way, you can create content by filming yourself talking about the most exciting thing in your life. You will not mind talking and you will have content. Sell something you use and are passionate about and create content by filming yourself talking about it or using it.

If you hate creating content yourself, the simple solution is to hire someone such as myself who loves writing and editing content. I have 13 years experience and plenty of happy customers.

As someone has already mentioned, you still need to read your content to ensure it's saying what you want but I have plenty of customers who either don't have time or the interest/ability to do it themselves.

The final point I will make is that if you personally hate writing content, then whatever you write will be poor quality because your heart isn't in it.

Actually, I would. I hate baking not bakeries.

I hated real estate appraising but opened a real estate appraising business and ran it for 9 years

Reason: other ways of making money I knew had entry points that were too high for me or I hated doing more than appraising.

If you can get someone else to do the activities you hate, it does not matter that you hate.

Banks, for me, is another thing. There are activities there that I love, activities that I hate, but I hate being in banks, the back offices. The whole vibe bored and weighed on me.

If you hate doing content, then it's just not for you and you shouldn't do that. It's like ordering a pizza with pineapple you hate so much. What's the point? You'll never succeed in a sphere you hate. SO just find something that suits you. I have found the activity I personally like and it's photography and videography on celebrations. It both brings me money and also joy. And if I'm getting tired of the routine I have I just implement something new like I need the last week with spinpix which has a Photo booth for Sale. I ordered it and I'm doing the same thing but with a new interesting tool.)

I hear you loud and clear. Believe it or not, you're not alone in wanting to start an online business but hating to create content. In fact, a lot of people feel the same way! The good news is that there are ways to get around this, one option is to hire a content writer, and this person can create content for you on a regular basis, whether it's blog posts, articles, or even social media content.

Another option is to outsource content creation to freelancers, this can be a more expensive option, but it may be worth it if you don't have the time or energy to create content yourself.

Also, you can use content curation tools to help you find and share existing content that's relevant to your business.

Last but not least, and this is my personal preferred method aka my little hack, if you are anything like me, I prefer to record what I want to say than writing it down, so I record what I want to say, then get this audio file to be converted in to text, and I can easily edit it later only if I find any errors or typos.

    I hope that helps!

    Regards,
    Adam

This might seem counter-intuitive. You like your job and the paycheck it provides, but you hate creating content? You're not alone. Many marketers, both in the B2B and B2C industries, find themselves faced with the same dilemma: they do marketing because they want to make money, but they hate creating new content. This is understandable because creating great quality pieces isn't always easy.

If you perform tests on how long or short copy works, you'd never be bored again.

Especially if you stand behind a product that converts. The whole thing is alchemy.

Marketers are born to do what others only experienced in books and flim-flam theory.

Obviously, if you're talking about content creation, you can't do without it. And if you don't like it that much, then it's always better to delegate it to someone who is more competent in this matter and can create content easily and quickly. In general, I think it's best to learn delegation as soon as possible - it will allow you to better do what you are good at, and in the end it will only play into your hands.

Yeah, you can outsource the content creation task. You can either hire a freelancer who will create the content instead of you, and at the same time you will do what you like, or ask friends. Here you should explain what do you like and how you can get out of this situation.

For example, if I hate content creation then I am passionate about web designing or web development. So, if we consider such a model then you just make a website, the freelancer or maybe your friend who is fond content creation will be busy with this task.

I also dont really like content creation because it seems to me super boring, nevertheless I try to do it, because I understand that the life of my business depends on this variable.
