I was just wondering what you guys would
prefer in an ebook.

Do you like it read to you? OR
Do you like reading it yourself?

I can't stand being read to so I much prefer having a PDF. I'll watch a video and listen to podcasts if they're interesting but if your audio consists of reading something to me, I'm gone by the end of the second sentence. I've never been able to pay attention when someone reads to me, even in school.

Someone who as charisma and personality as well as stage presence could read it to you, actually have it memorized as in a script, then they could posssibly hold your attention! Humor goes a long way too!

Personally, I have found way too many e-books way too boring to read, I need something interesting, long lasting in chapters posted as if dripped.

HMMM, I need a an e-novel!! LOL! But not on IM!!!

    Hi ladywinfall,

Not sure what you mean by having an ebook read to me, but i definitely prefer to read them myself. I am a speed reader so I really need to control the pace.

I prefer reading it myself, but I hate reading from my computer screen.

Since I don't have a kindle, I've resorted to using Text Aloud for consumption of my pdfs.

If you're referring to an audio book vs. text, I'd offer both. You can sell them separately or as a package.

Definitely read it myself. Then I can go back and check things when I need to. With an audio book it would be hard to find where things are...but with a well laid out ebook you can just check the Table of Contents and find what you want to refer to quickly.

You have a higher value to online clients with offering audio

For Warrior purposed a read format is appreciated as it helps eliminate notes

So, what not offer both to cater to both sides

That makes it a Win -- Win

    Best Regards

I prefer reading it myself OR interesting videos.

Even so, I would still want a PDF with the transcript or something.
