Long Time No See - Back to Browse and Learn

After a decade or so of absence, I have a couple of clients I do not always agree with, and who have introduced me to a little more than just the provision of content, including sales and marketing copy which has always been tough for me.

Given that the sites are about 20 years old, and because they have a strong presence online, there is both good and bad in the mix, but lots of potential.

Mostly I will just be browsing the old posts I imagine, but I may intervene from time to time just to see what has changed over the last decade or so.

Hi, welcome to the forum, so glad to have you back. Always a pleasure to have new people here and returning ones especially as they usually have more useful advice to give as they are actively working on some personal projects. Looking forward to getting the chance to chat with you more in the upcoming period.

    Welcome back. Alot has changed....

You know what they say about the Good Ole Days...."Not like"

I think we are in a good place but making $30,000 on your WSO on the first attempt might not be too frequent.

The head count I am sure probably not comparable but a place where people can come and learn and ask specific questions, marketplace, classifieds, without getting spammed to death and scammed this is a hell of a great place.

A Bonus would be the incredible relationships you can build here as well, if you decide to do so.

Allen Says (original Founder) left us with a heck of a learning lesson.

Create a Community or some other Asset

A guy you can not even find a photo of. His Avatar was the word "Admin" and cashed out for 3 Million with no fanfare online.

Man o man back in the early days here it was the wild wild west. Things have changed around here a lot that is for sure. I have been poking around.

And Alan did it right and got out at the right time as well. Once social media came along the shift me thinks has a lot of negative aspects built into it and has done a number on society as well.

That really made me pause. Excellent insights.

There was news without the word Kardashians in them.
There was no such thing as a death by selfie.
No Fivver Gigs for fake likes.
Not sure but probably no renting jets for an hour to take some photos either.
And I am jealous on this one...no "influencers" making more in a post than some do in months.
But it is funny to be in a mall or practically anywhere in public and a person just starts dancing for a few mins to upload it to Tik Tok.
I think generating online revenue got easier to create for some and harder for others. Got to evolve with the times.

One gets about a million views per day, but may be a bit harder to expand to any great degree through my efforts providing content. The other substantially less, but I do have a lot of room to attract viewers given the nature of the site.

DA in the mid to high 50s, but I am limited in the recommendations and changes I can make. That being said, it is still good to have a regular paycheck with it.

What my issues are is the fact that I am tasked not just with writing the content, but also email campaigns and some ads, yet my personal conversion rates remain about .30 percent. So I am here primarily lurking about for some hints on writing more persuasively.

        All about that story telling.

I wanted to add a helpful link here and one of my searches was "best free copywriting skills".

There was so many goodies there I could not pick just one but give it a go you may find a nugget or two.
