If you mean on Instagram the. Follow/Unfollow still works. I tweak it a bit by only following people who are actively engaged on Instagram.

Connected to this the mother/child strategy is still good as well.

Reels is dropping in effectiveness but still worth using

I was reading recently that was exactly what the Tik Tok Star Lame did. Had almost no followers and hired a mgr from instagram and they still together.

However you will get DMs all the time from pretenders that have very little engagement on their own Instagram.

You can find many case studies on YouTube where people take you step by step to their first 1000 followers. Usually by paid "shoutouts" to other instagramers. Then once you get that 1000 you can also trade or get paid for shoutouts.

There is also a program to get paid for certain amount of reels per month...they are competing with Tik Tok big time.

Then of course you can link your profile description to other programs that can pay you.

I am in several instagram groups and there are people with new accounts zero friends offering to manage accounts. Big red flag.

I recall one woman that was asking to get her hacked account back and willing to pay 4 digits for someone to "unhack" it. One guy tried but could not.

There is a dark side to just about everything I guess. Same tactics in social media are those being used to hijack crypto as well. Fake sign ins, apps, etc.

I get a lot of fake DMs from "influencers" with only about 5 posts on their Instagram

I would not hire anyone! Simply create your own account and use growth strategies to grow it. That way you will get real people who are interested in your content to come to your website/blog and buy your products.

Well, if you're hiring someone to merely promote your Instagram, you shouldn't.

If you're hiring an influencer to promote whatever you're selling, that's ok.

If you are wondering if Instagram marketing is worth the time and effort, the answer is a resounding yes. This social media platform boasts millions of users and posts almost daily. However, before you make the leap and go pro, you must first create and share great content. Then, you can start sharing with other users.

To create a buzz, you need to engage with your followers and build trust. Before you make the leap to professional Instagram marketing, start with a basic account and build your following slowly.

Once you have a good following on Instagram, you can start sharing your posts. Start by following the people who follow you. This will increase your audience's interest in your products or services. You can also follow the competition or post pictures of cars.

If you work hard enough, you can build up an audience of 500 or more followers very quickly. Remember that your goal is to get your followers to purchase from you, so your posts must align with your brand's aesthetic and branding.

Because a lot of your content can get missed the first time around, I use a scheduling software like missinglettr to schedule my instagram posts over a period of 6 months. This way, I'm promoting the same blog post 5 times over that period, but all designed slightly differently by the program. So, you get a lot of posts set up and its automated.
Build your audience and feed them with good quality content. That will keep growing your following and slowly you will see clicks to you content increase.

Yes Instagram marketing works and can bring tons of targeted traffic. But you have to create high quality and relevant content, get some shoutout from others and running targeted ads.

I've found it's just like all the other popular social media platforms. Share good content and engage with other posts that you like and you will see results.

If you're looking to pay for ads, you have to create some content, IG reels are fairly doing okay now with organic reach but nothing compared to Youtube Shorts or TikTok.

In my experience, the only think that have worked for me lately (2020-on), has been good filtered influencers to pay them for a promotion or collaborate somehow. Those promotions usually don't go bad and the best part is that I can retarget all the non-buyers and no-leads of that promotion for a small fraction of what would cost me to just run an ad with Instagram.

If someone can do that for you great, but a trained VA should be able to give you good results with this strategy without spending much
