You've already made the best decision EVER by joining the war room...

I suggest that you try to implement one of the plans presented in there. There are tons of other resources that can help you in there. It really is all you need.

    You won't regret it!

hello there fellow warrior member. Ok you are new, what you want to start to do is go to Click Bank and choose a product that you would like to promote and promote it. write 5 to 10 articles on the product that you have chosen to promore and upload those articles to Ezine Articles, remember write your articles with keywords of the product, hopefully this will boost you into internet marketing.

  • Yes, dump the Easy and Fast Mentality. Learn about marketing by learning about customers. Then before you jump in and just throw up a website and start trying to get links sit down and write some kind of business plan.

If you create a plan for yourself... whiteboards are great for this... then follow the plan you are much more likely to succeed. Forums are full of people asking how to make quick money fast.... but it's not a reality.

Money follows value, and value comes from creating products and services that solve customer problems. Your job is to find the Customer first, figure out what they want, then put yourself between them and a commissionable opportunity.

Think like a business, operate like a business.

The "overnight" success stories are built by people who make a plan.

Yup - best advice is to start reading the forums - learn as much as you can about how this industry works and then eventually start testing stuff out for yourself and see if you can develop a winning formula.

Welcome aboard, Champ! I'm afraid you've opened pandora's box though. It's a long hard road, my best and only advice really is to research, and do your homework. There are tons of people out there that would have you believe that they hold the key to wealth overnight, and that's just not the case.

eBooks, guides, websites, forum posts, blogs, you name it, read them all. You'll never regret it!

I found them to be so useful I've focused my own efforts to guide others in their use and have done pretty well for myself in the process. I'm still relatively new to this particular site, myself (though not the biz). I welcome you again! and wish you all of the luck in the world!

Hi slattery, for a new internet marketing I highly suggest you look into affiliate marketing. It is the area I started in and I honestly believe it is best for new people because it gives you a chance to learn about the concepts and work involved with internet marketing, without having to worry about product launches or product creation or shipping or even seeing the product at all. It allows you to focus on the marketing aspect of internet marketing which in my opinion is the most important part (hence the name). If you would like any help getting into this field please feel free to contact me in some way with questions. I would be glad to help out.

Hi Chris! As mentioned, you'll only be successful if you're in it for the long haul and aren't going to give it just a couple months and quit. If you had any big successes in the first couple months, I think we would all be pretty surprised! It just doesn't happen fast or easy. But that doesn't mean it's not worth the time and effort. If you have realistic expectations, you're already ahead of 99% of new Internet marketers out there. And it's a great field to be in.

I also do affiliate marketing and think it's the way to go, but of course I'm biased.

I can advise you not to buy everything on the internet that looks good to you. Ask people on this forum for advice before you purchase products. You can waste quite a bit of money and get yourself confused at the same time if you purchase tons of books on internet marketing. Another piece of advice is to find an internet marketer that seems to fit your style and follow them; see what they do and mirror their efforts.

    Welcome Aboard,

The best advice I ever received is, "Start Your Internet Marketing Business by Finding a Niche."

Everyone and their mother wants to start a business focusing on Internet Marketing. They think that because this is how the big guns are making all their money, it must be the way to go. Unfortunately, many people jump right into markets that are already completely saturated, and then wonder why they are not making any money. Given unlimited time, money and patience, some may succeed. But for those that do not have unlimited resources, aiming for a smaller niche is a much smarter way to start your online business.

When it comes to finding a niche market, a great resource available online is Wordtracker (Google it). It's great because it's free, and simple to use. Just type in Internet Marketing into the "keyword" box and look at all the ideas that pop up. Each of these can become keywords that you may decide you want to focus your niche on. Or, you can pop in some of those keywords and keep narrowing and defining your niche. You will certainly find a particular niche that catches your interest.

Having a smaller niche will give you a much better shot at being successful than trying to build a site around a broad topic like Internet Marketing. Find the right niche and you are starting out on the right path.

    Best of Luck,
    Mark

Once you find an area of Internet marketing or niche and get started - stick with it! I really mean stick with it. One of my worst mistakes early on was jumping around from niche to niche and new idea to new idea. if you are going to start by writing articles for an affiliate product, stick to it and finish it then move on!

Best of luck on this steep fascinating ride!

    Hey, welcome to the forum.

Since you already subscribed to the war room, i suggest you read everything
by Allen Says in his private section "My Ideas, Thoughts, and Strategies Revealed".

The information you will find there is what i consider to be life changing.

You have to ask your self first what your goals are. Then you can decide
which business model would be right for you.

Almost all aspects of internet marketing come down to building a targeted customer
list. Email marketing/List Building. Its the way money has been
made for a long time. If you build a list of customers who trust you
you can literally print cash at will.

    im rambling, sorry, anyways..

If you take anything away from this post
    it should be this:

1: Read all of Allen Says' posts

2: Focus on one business model, make it profitable, optimize, systemize, outsource,
and move on to the next thing.

    Good Luck
    -Felix

    P.s.

Take action.. thats the only way you will ever learn.. look into
self help material and harnessing your inner self and all of that..
Allen talks about it and it is quite interesting

    Sign up at clickbank.

See their products, go to cbengine.com, see the clickbank products there, play around with stats, see what the products pay. See what gravity means and how popular some products are.

Go to ezine.com, see what many authors sell there. See why and what authors on ezine submit MANY articles and what products and niches they promote. See their writing style and how they make people click on their links. Do the same thing.

If Joe X. gets 12.000 views on his article on yeast infection - there is basically nothing which speaks against you can do it too. Submit articles. Rinse, Repeat.
