The WP DB Backup plugin works well in a pinch.

    Hi

not sure of the name in all honesty but there is a plugin you can use that will do this and email you the backup at your specified timeframe ...

Do a quick search for wordpress backup plugin ... that should find it

  • Go to your CPanel, open phpMyAdmin.

    Select your database.

Choose "Export." Choose CSV as the format. (You can export as Excel too, but I've found it less than perfect. Choose SQL for perfection but it's a much bigger file.)

Copy the output to Notepad and save it as "Mybackup.csv" or something similar.

Since each website has its own database... the answer is yes.

(I do prefer the phpmyadmin > Export > SQL > as file route; clean and simple)

I usually backup my full site and the database. Here's how:

Go to cpanel>backups. Click Download a MySQL Database Backup. It will be downloaded to your computer.

Then you can backup your site by clicking: Download a Home Directory Backup
