How to remove Guest post which are spam

Hi,

I used guest posting (forum posting) for my website and after year or two I found some of the links are giving negative impact ,

I am after if I am able to remove it or is there any other way so google shouldn't consider them or make them no follow.

Thank you

In the first place, forums don't usually allow guest posting.

Why do that in the first place?

You spammed forums. Now the spam is showing up in your online history.

Better choice would be a link building campaign that would replace the old spam posts with new, relevant online content and links.

We occasionally have requests on this forum to 'remove my acct and all my posts' - and we will not do that. Most forums won't do 'clean up' for you. You can request an acct be 'closed' but on WF that means it will be listed as 'banned'.

If you still have access to those forums (are not banned) you could edit your posts to remove the links one by one if the forum permits it.

Best thing to do is ignore that past history and instead begin to build good links that will replace that history.

I've said far more times than I can count ... if you can place a link, yourself, on another website that you do not own, it is an absolutely worthless and potentially harmful link, at least in terms of SEO. Sometimes, you want to have those links if they are on a forum that is extremely relevant to your website and that link could bring high targeted traffic.

Unless that is your whole link profile, it shouldn't hurt you because Google will just ignore the links. In the future, you need to build the kind of content that other websites will want to link to and then make the other sites that already link to that type of content aware of your content.

This is why the expression, "Content is King" is always true. Not only does stellar content fare better in search engines, but without it, you'll have an extremely tough time getting anyone to link to your site.

Hello, Palak. You could start by reading the answers already posted.

While you're at it, you might think about responding to the posts in the thread you started last month.

First of all what forum was you on ?

Secondly ,use ahrefs to analyze your site and the forum you was guest posting on .

Lastly remove bad links after you analyze your site and the other .
