What should be the back links and content frequency should be used?

Hi,

I have online homeware store website and my domain is working for 8 years and in past I used forum posting and blog posting and few paid links and I was getting good result back in the days.
Even my blog page was indexed.

For past 2 years I am not any getting good result although I have not used back links in 2 years or much of content on blogs,

I have used paid links with blogs with good D.A P.A sites but still I didnt get much results on my targeted keywords.

I was after If any one let me know the best strategy should I follow,

How much back links should I need in a month or much gap it needs when first back link is placed.

How many blogs needs to be written and should I use blog URL as a backlink on other sites.

    Good DA and PA are meaningless words: DA and PA are not Google metrics.

    You stopped doing something that work. The first thing is to start doing that again.

    Back links are very important factor when we talk about the SEO. Without back links it's pretty hard to rate keywords. Sometimes, quality matters not the quantity i.e. numbers of back links won't provide you the result but the good quality of links can give you the result. So just focus on posting forum and create a good content rather than giving a thought on increasing back link. Just to let you know, in a month 10 to 15 back link is sufficient, but it always won't work. So a proper strategy requires a quality of back links and a good content.
