Is there anything better than seeing your business username in the limelight? I've got some quick tips to snagging the perfect social handle.
  • Always assume that someone already has your ideal username
  • Check availability across all platforms
  • Align your handles with your business name or domain name
  • Choose matching handles for consistency
  • Opt for the original name instead of punctuation
  • Keep them concise
  • Ensure they are easy to spell and pronounce

      I think so many get so caught up in the idea or choice of name - before they even get to the point of "Looking" to see whats available... A name is a name is a name... The reality is Billyjoebobs is not different than ABCwonderniche. The ABSOLUTE importance of having www.auniquename and Twitter@auniquename and Instagram@auniquename and Facebook@auniquename is so so so under rated.

      When you look at modern Brands... Walmart... Target... Amazon... Safeway... Piggly Wiggly for goodness sakes... Walmart is the only one of the bunch that actually has any amount of sensibility.

      Your Name.. your BRAND is shot all to heck and back if you are A this and Aofficial that and a234 there and A661234 over somewhere else. The absolute secret in a whole lot of aspects of business but per this discussion... how your online business is seen from the world - is Consistency - Consistency in how you are seen across ALL platforms... Consistency of the overall image ( logos, colors, graphics ) and the consistency in effort put forth.
