Writing an Ebook, ideas of what to do with it when I'm done.

Currently I'm working on my first ebook. My question is a simple thing, once I am done creating the product what do you guys think I should do, just sell it normally, or offer sell it as a limited PLR offer?

Any ideas and direction is appreciated.

What kind of book is it? You could try putting it on clickbank.

Yeh depends on what it is!

If it is addressing a problem, maybe clickbank would be good, but dpends on the niche I suppose.

If it is IM related then you could sell it as a WSO, or build a squeeze page and give it away to build a list you can later market too!

    Depends on the topic really!

It's in the weight loss niche. Wanted to stick with something I actually have experience in first.

definitely clickbank. Give it to some people, let them review it, maybe add more stuff and value to it. Ask the maker of "fat loss for idiots" how many MILLIONS he made with it....

Well, in that case, I would be tempted to build a site, either minisite/salesletter and drive traffic to it and make sales, or setup a squeeze page and drive traffic to it for optins!!!

I'm a firm believer in product creation and using those products to actually profit yourself.

Unfortunately, most people develop fantastic products and then sell them off for PLR and make a very tiny sum of money.

And then, people that have marketing knowledge take those fantastic products and make a ton of money with them.

If I was you, I would market the product myself and try to earn some money as I learn how to market on the Internet.

But, before you get that far this is what I would do...

If you are not a good writer I would write out an outline for the product and then recorded an audio.

I would then take that audio and have it transcribed.

Once you get the transcription back clean it up and put it into a readable format.

Now, you quickly have your e-book done and you have an upsell to audio.

I would then take the audio and make some PowerPoint slides and turn it into a video.

Now, not only do you have an e-book, but you also have audio and video.

So, you can quickly start to upsell and increase your profits that way.

The only thing holding you back now is driving traffic.

      Talk soon,

Give it away for free to build a list you later can sell other products to.

    Have fun

Simply writing an ebook and placing it on clickbank isn't going to make you any money, if that's your intention in the first place. You need to know what people want. Don't make the mistake of spending your valuable time on some junk that nobody is interested in.

      Hi there

      Hope this will help you.

      Create two eBooks.

One to give away containing useful information similar to that in the second eBook which you will sell.

You could even for example if your for sale eBook was "10 ways to make money on the Internet" include a couple of the ways in the free ebook.

Just make sure that you include a link to the Sales Page for the eBook you are selling in the free eBook.

Get your free eBook all over the net placing it in free eBook directories for example and you can also give it away on the Sales Page for your for sale eBook..

You can also use the content in the free eBook to set up an autoresponder sequence on your sales page

Sell your eBook via Clickbank to take advantage of their affiliate program to get others to sell your eBook for you.

Do not sell PLR or MRR to your eBook YET.

When your sales have peaked then offer rights to it and then......

Use the same process for your second eBook.

First of all get some fellow warriors to review your book, as testimonials and reviews un questionably have a huge impact on your conversion ratio.

After you have your reviews, and have fixed any issues there are a number of things you could do with an ebook.

Here's a few of the top of my head:

Give it away as an incentive to join your list,
    Sell it on Clickbank,
    Sell it on Paydotcom
or market it yourself, and keep 100% of a lower amount of money.

I would recommend selling it on Clickbank, as the deal for vendors is much better than it first appears.

Make sure you have an absolutely "Killer" page though. Preferably with testimonials, bonuses and even a video if possible.

Have a go, but above all else - Do something with it.
    Onwards to glory LOL

Thats a pretty competitive niche. What I would do is build a smaller ebook, give it away to build a list, and then you can have your sales pitch to your main ebook within the smaller book. This way, you build a list with your free ebook, which you can market to afterwards, and if your smaller ebook is good then the conversion will be solid on the main ebook. Just a thought.

That's what I'm doing, except I'm magnifying it a little.

I have 10 small free eBooks aimed towards one Big ebook. Each free small eBook is also built with its own site, have been advertised on a social medium, and advertised for a small amount of money. I also use each one to build up my list to later promote my main eBook. The small eBooks are related in their purpose to make money using similar methods.

An example for you would be to make small eBooks on:

      Losing Face Fat
Lose 20 pounds in 30 days
Lose Stomach Fat and Show Off Those Abs
      Converting Fat to Muscle
Lose Fat and Strengthen your Legs in 30 Days
Turn your ASSets from Flab to Fantastic

etc, research and write a simple eBook for each one with your pitch to your Amazing eBook on losing weight in it.

Another option is to build a site around it (squeeze, optin and all that) and then sell it on Flippa as a unique product, these sites can reach $1300 even with no traffic as the product is original... The design and sales copy also need to be very good.
