Is anyone using Gumroad and can you offer alternatives or do you like it?

I've had a Gumroad account for awhile now, have one product, a small Waffle Iron cookbook...which I've never activated.

So, if you use Gumroad, or have found an alternative, I would appreciate your opinions.

We're testing out new platforms, and Gumroad is on our rotation, thanks for sharing your experiences.

Hey Gordon, for me it's a good option, I have been using it for 4 years now and I can't complain much, but I often found that liking or not a platform (if it has good standards) it's more a matter of personal taste and if it fits with your business and way of working than anything else...Anyways it fulfills its function IMHO, some pros and cons:

    Advantages of Gumroad:

Allows you to manage the entire buying and selling process within the same platform.
It has its own tool for creating landing pages for the products offered.
    Application of filters and segmentation.
Buyers can pay with PayPal or credit card.

    Disadvantages of Gumroad

It only allows selling digital products, leaving out services.
Its customer support can be improved.

    Hope it helps

Yes, it helps. We like to find users, they give a more reliable opinion.

If I may, and I know you built out the Facebook group into a private thing, but now that you are "back", keeping your crypto alive but venturing more into IM, perhaps you will share what TOOLS, platforms, and software/apps you are looking at today.

It is hard to keep up with everything, and we're pretty set in our ways, but, always on the lookout to try different things out.

In addition to Gumroad, what other sites/software/apps/platforms are you currently getting referred to, or are using, testing or exploring?

Maybe we can make many Warriors benefit from our lists of what we use or are exploring, there used to be these things here, but it changes so rapidly, even those tools of a few years ago, some, seem like a rotary telephone (if anyone is old enough to recall).

Thanks for your opinion on Gumroad, it is appreciated.

P.S. Would love some USER opinions on sendowl, sellfy, podia, payhip, etc., etc. or any other platform. Thanks to any and all responders.

So far I'm keeping it simple, for me the most important thing is to get a strong proof of concept before anything else, I got that already, so I'm using (aside of what's mentioned already):

The improved version of the membership model I used 4 years ago.
        Code for building the website
        Paypal as a merchant account
        Activecampaign for the email marketing
Tweet Hunter for automating my Twitter
        LinkedIn

I started selling orthopedic shoes for horses in 1913...

I started with Gumroad, then discovered SamCart. I liked SamCart. It has A/B testing, upsells, downsells, cross-sells, windsails, parasails, etc.

    Just my thoughts
