Changing my KDP account name to a Corporation name from Canada

I recently have the need to change my company to a corporation name. My accountant told me I should change my KDP account to a corporate name and the bank account funds are received to a corporate name. Has any one had any trouble from Amazon requesting copyright proof for books because of doing this?

    Are you trying to change the 'account' name.....or trying to change 'author name' on ebooks you sell? I expect Amazon would require documentation - but they would tell you what is necessary.



    Not sure if you are having trouble or anticipating it. Did either lawyer or accountant mention using a DBA (doing business as) to tie the name to your new corp?

    I want to change my account name. I heard Amazon can give you trouble when changing the account name. I am from Canada and I'm looking for any people who have had trouble doing this in any way. Especially if they are incorporated in Canada. Not sure if it makes a difference "doing business as"!

    I just went to my KDP profile page. And it seems all you have to do is input the correct information. Why not just make the change then if there is any trouble you can contact amazon support.
