You appear to be in Netherlands - asking about traffic in Mexico, So America, Guatemala, Africa....and this forum is based in Australia.

I don't believe anyone can tell you what Facebook will or won't allow - except Facebook.

if we all tied ourselves to the local markets then there wouldn't have been a global market, also because i am not in Mexico, America, Guatemala, Africa even Australia i have to ask what the people who have worked in these markets have used and what has worked for them.
Well and good facebook will tell me what they do or don't allow, but they will not tell me what converts better in a specific region. So as per my original question, in your experience what pre-landings convert better for Ecuador geo from FB?

I was not saying YOU should not work in those markets - I was saying I doubt you will get good information on this forum about those markets. Answers from those with no experience in those particular markets is not going to be helpful to you.

You may want to find forums or discussion groups that focus on Spanish marketing or on marketing in South America. If I were going to market to Ecuador..I would start with marketing info FROM at least that continent...and use my trusty translator page though many of the sites are also in English.

When I did a google search for

    internet marketing south america

I found many good resources I would be able to use in targeting buyers from South American countries. A sampling of those results is below - not associated with any of them - but they point out the differences in the Latin American digital market. For example, it is MOSTLY mobile traffic.

I get the whole "global market" thing... but you have to understand the "internet" doesnt really work that way. Facebook, Google, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and how many others are providing content based apon the end users local in comparison to YOUR local.

A website like Google, actually has a Netherlands based search ( https://www.google.nl/ ) Try going to Google.com ( and ensure its .com ) and then do a search for "Dentist" and you will see that the results will be local to you - not American dentists.

Facebook as an example only has the ".com" but it segregates content based apon origin of user. Go into Marketplace as an example and search for something... and you will get local to you listings

Almost all if not all platforms have long ago gone to "Local" vs "Global". Take my word for it or not... I can tell you, you are playing a game that is simply an uphill battle.

Learn how to succeed in your local market first.

Do you know the average income in Ecuador? did you know its $466.00 USD per month? In the scope of world economy... I wont say Ecuador is the worst, but its towards the bottom of the list. If you are trying to sell something to them ( Ecuadorians ) thats say $5.00 USD you might have a chance... BUT if you are running ads to sell a $5.00 something, you will end up in the Negative for sure.

Basic economics here... Start with what you know... You know the Economy of the Netherlands.

If you are starting out there is simply no reason to complicate something, that is a bit complicated to start with. Trying to reach a distant land with an offer that is so over priced based on average income is just going to be a failure waiting to happen. Your not going to sell a $97 something to them.. not a $47 something... your talking 10 and 20% of total income... just not feasible.

If the REAL incentive here is the cost of advertising... Running ads in Ecuador is for sure a lot cheaper... you are better to save your money.

Not trying to be a debbie downer here, just trying to put some things into perspective for you from someone that has experience with world trade.
