Hello,

How can I create a Tik Tok channel for music. I want to become a influencer but I`m camera shy. If i`m only posting music on my Tik Tok channel how will that look like?

Do I have to have videos on that Tik Tok video or can I just have a picture and let the music play? I don`t know what to do with the video part can some of you guys give me some Ideas?
Thank you

Sign up for a TikTok account.

Don't show your face, i.e. turn off your video when recording.

    Hi bm2,

As WF-Enzo stated, the first thing to do is jump in and sign up!

TikTok is obviously a very visual platform, but if you're camera-shy you still have some options. You could always shoot some footage with something else as the subject matter, use stock-footage that is appropriate for your music, or if you're willing/able to spend a bit more, get a short custom music video made. Sites such as Fiverr have some very talented people that can help with that.

How fast do you think I could get to 10.000 subscribers? I`ve been looking at some other tik tok channels but they all have videos.

As a 'plan' - I don't think that one will fly. Your goals need to match with your abilities. Doesn't mean you won't do well, but be realistic.

No one can answer that question.

I have one question, when you say "Music" is it your music, or are you just going to take songs, then slap a generic, probably free, image into a video editor and let the music play? Or, is it your own music?

First, you might have copyright issues if it is not your music.

Second, why would I follow someone that is just playing music I probably already have downloaded anyway.

    just my .04 cents (inflation)

Nothing beats human interaction .You said you want to be an influencer so you would have to show your face at some point to win peoples trust .

When you put out the music you don't have to show your face but it will help if you are the producer .

Get some practice standing in the mirror or try wearing a pair of shades or something while recording to get yourself comfortable .

There is a caveat to this statement ( I believe ) and that would be actual skill. I gave some examples above, and the skill level is through the roof in all cases. But you dont even have to be that good...

There are some that I watch ( on youtube ) where people complain in the comments they talk to much LOL

look at someone like Ichika Nito on youtube, or watch some of the older stuff from PEDULLA STUDIO or better yet look up Rousseau, and you will see they not only dont show their face, they dont even say a word.

In the world of Tik Tok, playing music with photos just is not going to cut it. Its a VIDEO platform first - with all the fake crap out there - people want to see you actually playing.

Its just a matter of camera placement. In the case of Pedulla and Ichika over time they became more comfortable with showing thier face, and in Pedullas case eventually talking a bit. BUT in both cases the videos are stronger ( in my opinion ) because the actual skill being presented out weighs anything that words could add.

There was recently a famous case of someone using an AI generated character and had 100k or more Tiktok followers ...You have to be really creative to make it with the disadvantage of not showing

Or overcome your camera shyness and suck until you get good at it, almost nobody is gonna see you the first weeks
