I've been a member here for a while, know a lot of members, and have had over 10 Warrior Special Offers (12 maybe??). I dont remember... all that was in 2012, 2013, and 2014.
Anyway...
I've been cruising these threads for a while now and I see just one thing missing. REAL MARKETING.
No one talks about it, no one talks about copywriting...even though its KEY.
I was "awarded" 10 to 12 WSOs of the day almost back to back.
WHY?
Copywriting and product quality.

Thats it.

You MUST offer what the prospect desperately desires. After that - - it's easy.

Mike, you realize there's a separate copywriting section?

    https://www.warriorforum.com/copywriting/

Several "real" discussions going on in there.

Here, at the longest running MARKETING forum online, with the most members, where the whole idea is about Marketing...isn't it more likely that those long term members who only cruise the forum, don't add to the discussion nor share their experience, might be one reason why there are missing gaps?

Nothing stopping you or any other member to start a thread about REAL MARKETING, and I'm sure the rest of the members would be appreciative, eh?

So social media marketing, SEO, email marketing, they're all fake marketing?

    Guys.

We seem to be piling on the OP for a clumsily written post that is easily interpreted as an insult.

As someone who is known for unintentionally insulting others, I suggest maybe we wait to see what he meant.

Maybe he was just reading the threads in this section, mostly populated with beginners. The Offline and Copywriting sections are the ones where the experienced active marketers tend to hang out.

I can't count the number of posts I've made where I could come across as a pedantic, pompous, know it all with delusions of grandeur.

God bless you Claude, you are a good man, and right on about this.

We can only respond to what is written, not what may have been intended, right? Sure, we all get in a hurry and maybe write something we didn't really mean, we all get clumsy now and then.
Here is a Warrior, who in his post made a point of telling us about all the WSO's of the day he had back when, and we must assume from this, he made some decent money on those, didn't he?

He made money MARKETING to Warriors, and his "return" post is lamenting the lack of Real Marketing, I feel he deserves to be called out on that and with all those WSO's of the Day under his belt, he is very well qualified to assist and participate with helping the current Warriors do better with their marketing skills.

Again, if his intent was clumsy, he's had ample time to correct us and participate.

Well enough to start a thread complaining about 'copywriting discussions' - though he has never participated here in the copywriting section.

We have a few members who come back here and there to start a thread - usually complaining- and then never come back to read the replies. winebuddy hasn't logged in since the day after he started the thread. Too bad as he used to have 'his own stool' here.

YOU know - as he does - the 'offer of the day' had nothing to do with this forum...but was a WarriorPlus marketing ploy. It worked for a while so was a good marketing ploy, I guess.

5k in product downloads. and we didn't even break 10 grand.
That's an honest comment - there was a lot more of that than many here realized. There were quite a few people who were talking a big game but not living the dream at the time. I always hope that changed for them in the years since...

So often, the WF is like a high school or college reunion - we remember ourselves as better than we ever were.

      The thing is.
I have been away for years now but I am starting to return When I read something like this and I actually know what kind of marketing was done for my own product which quite seriously put everything to bed. I had every tool imaginable plus over 5k bucks in downloads I purchased from various memberships I was part of like plrwholesaler etc. 5k in products.Top reviews. we WITH the stupid wso of the day didn't even break that amount. I then of course switched to promote both Brians with jvzoo because they were just launching it.
      anyway.
I like what I see now. The war room actually has what is called Real Marketing. I was surprised. I was always good at making products but never on selling them. So that's why I had the jv.
      anyhoo.
      cheers
