pixlr is my go to for quick little fixes, like resizing, adding a layer, or to make simple and easy touch ups. For a more professional need, Adobe Photoshop lightbox.

What do you want to do to the pics?

  • I'm a big fan of Gimp. The only thing about Gimp is that you can't edit .PSD files as effectively as you can in Photoshop. And it's free.

If you talk about simple photo editing for articles then recently i have came across a very simple and useful tool that is built in windows tool. I have also used too many tools for photo editing and recently I have ended up on this tool. Use microsoft photo editor, it is very simple and useful tool if you are writing an article. Just open your image with it and start editing simply. You will become familiar with it as you open and start working on it.

PicsArt is a simple tool you can use to edit photos and videos without needing to learn how to use complicated software. Pixlr and Canva are also good ones!
