Drug dealer solicitation spamming...

Why is it that my Hotmail, Yahoo, and Gmail are great at sorting junk mail, but they seem to NEVER send pharmacy spam to the junk folder?

I notice that EVERY email I get from these guys that make it to my inbox seems to ALWAYS have something in the header MISSPELLED, ie:

"Worwldide deIveiry insanttly to your home"

"Topp Eurapean Hair Loss Treatmnent"‏

"Stop Cigrette Addicction Now!"

Is this an old "get-spam-through-the-system" trick or are these guys just collectively stupid?

Just curious.

I think its a mixture of both. More stupidity than anything though... Come on, we are talking about people who would rather email millions of people, hoping to get a few clicks, instead of learning how to drive traffic with conventional (legit) methods.

I've never ran a spam campaign, but it seems like optimizing a site for keywords and link building is much less of a hassle than writing a spam email hoping it makes it through the filters.

Misspells are generally caught by the larger systems used by those guys. I'm actually sort of surprised to see that it is coming through, because I've personally never had any pharmaceutical spam reach my Gmail inbox.

Yeah ... it reaches my gmail inbox too ... with all the same misspellings. Always coming from such nice, friendly women like Jane Smith, Marsha Johnson, Mary .... etc. What is nice girls like this doing selling all this crap?

Sometimes it irritates me to see these kind of misspelled emails coming thru my gmail account. Maybe its a a combination of both: them being stupid and a marketing trick
