HELP-Shopping Cart
Ok, I have asked this before, but its been a long time and I ended up using zencart for a specific application.
I am working on a very large deal with a company that is under contract with a very popular up and coming music superstar. We will be taking control of the artists website,the mailing list, and the artist will be releasing a long anticipated cd/multimedia disc on Jan 4th. The company is handling the replication of the disc, along with all of the apparel for the artist.
This is a million dollar + sales/year deal, and I get a nice % of all sales

So, with the above said, I need a kick ass shopping cart that can handle the load. Does anyone have any recommendations of something they have used? The artists reach is global, although mainly US, UK and Australia, so the cart needs to be able to handle global transactions(although US currency will be the setting).
We have already got accounts with the USPS and UPS and they are on board and we have our own API crap to integrate in.
We also have our own credit card merchant account, but understand that we may need to use an online account as well, like authorize.net.
Zen Cart is great for little stuff, but I am not crazy about using it in this instance.
Anyone have any experience with a good cart, and if so, could you tell me why you recommend it?
