Looking for advice and opinions. TunnelAddicts - Wind tunnel coaching

3 replies
Hi.

So I am fairly new to this. And I am starting off with the plan to create a FB add for my coaching business.
I am a wind tunnel coach (I teach skydivers how to move in freefall).

I have a website. [link removed by moderator]

I also have A facebook page Tunneladdicts

And a facebook group. Bjørnar K. CoachingGroup - TunnelAddicts

And an instagram account Thetunneladdict

I think I need to make it clear what the job for each of them is... They should be working as tools to help my ads work and to get me more customers.

So how should they do that?

I am thinking they should be set up with the ads in mind. So what will the goal of the first ads be? Get more people to visit the website, join the group, like the FB page, or send me more messages....

The market I am in is very small, and people really know each other. Almost all of my students are students I get because I know someone that they know.
But I think that having a constant reminder out there reminding people that coming to fly is an option, might make them think more about it, and might make them more likely to decide to come and fly.

I think getting people to send a message is one goal. And I think getting people to join the group is also a good goal. Since they will then automatically get reminders of the camps (Camps are events I hold at the tunnel, usually 3-4 people can join, at the moment most of my customers come from Denmark, I live in Helsinki, Finland).

I am not really sure what the difference between the FB page, and the FB group really is. Do I need both? I guess it doesn't do any damage.

Well, since my second goal here is to learn more about creating ads. Then I could just try the different things out maybe?

So one for getting messages, and one for traffic (or for joining the group).

Each camp gets a FB event created, and this is where people can click join, but mainly it is about the communication and messaging on FB . This event should be created by the FB page Tunneladdicts. And shared all over.... Is this event page something the ad should be connected to?

Well, it seems I have more questions than answers at this point. But at least I have started asking them

Here are some short copywrite texts I felt sounded okay:

1. Great tunnel time prices in Finland, Helsinki.

2. a. Do you want to improve your flying skills?

2. b. Do you want to get better at flying?

3. Winter is comi.... No, I mean tunnel season is coming! (Come to Helsinki and get some great tunnel time prices!)

I have some photos and short video clips prepared, but it seems I can't attach them here. But feel free to get in touch if you would like to see them.

Like I said I am new to this, so sorry for my rookie mistakes in advance But I could really use some thoughts around this from someone with experience, so if you let me know what you think, I would really appreciate it!

B.

    Well it's a Very good Niche as few people but these are clients who can pay wells and it's not one time.

    I would suggest instead of doing to much hard work, use Automation put your Clients past and new through Automation where by without you needing to do anything they get engaged and reminders.

    Have you though about that?

    A Facebook page is open to anyone to see your business page but a Facebook group is something you need to join to have access. A Facebook group is a great idea to create community for your business. You can check for new followers to your Instagram and FB every day and send them an invite to the group. You will definitely find a lot of your new customers that way because it creates more engagement! I once worked for a personal trainer who did that and he got a ton of customers that way.

  • @Bjornar Knutsen,

    Sounds like a classic problem regarding niche market profile development.
    • I for one would SIT DOWN and REALLY THINK of the following things:

    (i) WHO my target audience is;
    (ii) WHERE do they hang out on the Web;
    (iii) WHAT are they actually looking for; and
    (iv) WHY would they feel compelled to sign up as my student or share my offer to their peers?

    And as you can see -- By knowing these things, you'll be able to know the following things:

    • WHAT to offer them;
    • WHERE to advertise and promote your content and offers;
    • HOW to grab their attention and interest across the offsite places where they hang out on the Web; and
    • WHY some of your techniques are working well and others aren't ...

    Best of luck!
