How would you pick a niche....

Hello Everyone,

I need help promoting my virtual staffing agency.

Our target clients are marketing agency owners and cleaning companies (These are our current client base)

We fill roles like Project managers, operations manager, executive assistant, digital marketing assistant, seo specialist, customer service representative, inside sales agent(Closer) and many more.

We're running ads on google and trying to setup fb ads right now.

But i feel i need to be a bit niched down like remote staffing for Accounting firms, remote staffing for maid services, remote staffing for real estate businesses, remote staffing for lawyers, remote staffing for health and wellness practices and remote staffing for marketing agencies - I'm finding it difficult to pick the niche.

Because being broad doesn't help marketing wise because our targets are wide (Like we target every small business)

Just thinking of where we would get better opportunity.....

How would go about running an offshore virtual staffing agency for remote staff?

Would really appreciate it.

    Dropship lifestyle does some really good job with niche. it would be worth checking them out.. i used their system to find the perfect niche.

    Since u hv so many sub niches, I wud recommend to only pick three that has the highest demand and profitability.. and then custom design and launch dedicated lead generation landings pages on separate domains and run ads on them.

    Conversion rates will be much higher when your domain name, design and landing page content will be specific to the keywords you're targetting... it is a bit of work.. but will prove to be worth it.

    It also comes down to the name/branding of your existing site.. if it is catchy and makes sense to have all the niches in them, then you can avoid the work and go back to optimizing the existing landing page.. but broadly speaking - dedicated landing page with domain for each keyword group will always produce better results.

      That's a very good idea but don't you think it's going to cost more?

      When you have 3 niches and you spend money advertising.

      Can be way out of budget.

    You do not need to niche down. You need to be perceived as having niched down.


    By that, I mean, you can go after all kinds of businesses; but you have to have an ad for accountants that leads to a landing page that's all about accountants; an ad for cleaners that leads to a landing page that's all about cleaners, an ad for plumbers that leads to a landing page that's all about plumbers. And those landing pages should not be visible to all.


    The benefit of niching down, you get 'there' faster. The advantage of being perceived as having niched down: you get there faster for a broader range of clients, which is sometimes useful... You know, when an entire industry hiccups, and you're all in it, you feel it bad, but if you're in several industries, you don't feel it bad.

      Like creating landing page for each market or roles.

      But then isn't it cost to cost a lot more since you're now running ads to virtually the industry you want to work with?

      What do you say about that?

        Are you saying you would spend 100 on ads if you made 300 in profit but would not spend 300 if you made 2000 in profit?

        You start with what you can and reinvest.

        This assumes you know how to get profits with ads.

          That's not what I'm saying.

          We have different industries

          Recruitment

          Accountants

          Marketing agencies

          Maid services

          Home services businesses (roofers, contractors etc)

          Currently we budget over $1k in Google and close $1k for Facebook ads for that industry.

          So if we're going to try to do it for every industry that we can help, then we would be budgeting $7-10m in adspend monthly.

          We're starting with what we have and reinvesting into the business.

          I think I have this thing is my head to niche down to actually feel good about myself and go after an industry but with what you said now, gave me another perspective.

          We just need to feel like we're niches down.

          Create landing pages for each industry and run ads to them separately..... which is a good idea!
