Reddit rolls out images in comments for selected subreddits

Reddit is introducing a new interaction option, with photographs in comments now available within the app's 1,500 subreddits.



Some subreddits will soon be able to enable image posting within comment threads, providing an additional way for individuals to participate and contribute within these communities. Back in July, Reddit introduced GIFs in a few subreddits.

Reddit explains:

"Ever wanted to share a candid cat pic in the latest r/cats thread? Perhaps, help out a fellow r/crochet hobbyist? Or maybe even fulfill a father's dream of being hugged by sasquatch in r/photoshoprequest? If so, this feature is for you!"

However, NSFW images are not allowed and will be automatically removed.
