Webflow vs Wordpress from an agency standpoint

Hi everyone,

Looking to try to make my first post here with a quick discussion!

I've seen a lot of other agencies use WordPress either when I pick up a client who needs a revamp or something fixed on their site. I even have one client right now who had a developer build an ecommerce site on WordPress when the client wanted it on Shopify.

I personally use Webflow for all my new clients as I'm pretty proficient with it and have found any fixes or customizations a client wants to make happen I can do with ease.

I wanted to get your guy's opinion on what you like better and why?

For me... its all about being proficient A) with a platform, and in the case of say Wordpress B) being proficient with specific themes - we use 4 and sometimes a 5th but not often. If the client is wanting something other than... we pass.

Skill set has to equal the clients request...anything less than, and its just a cluster truck.

If I feel the need to add a "platform" or a "Theme" I do so on my own dime... a site for myself... maybe to 3 sites, to learn that particular platform or theme. Once you are over the learning curve, this is when you can start to offer such a service in a timely manor and not stumble over yourself.
