What Is The Next Step To Add To Existing Website Visitors

8 replies
Okay, I have to admit I have mostly been quietly stalking in the background, and not overly active here, but I have been busy.

We have integrated the ability to use a Swap Now feature on all free ads on a classified ads website with a 20 year history which allows people to exchange goods and services for Tether (USDT).

The email lists have largely been cleaned up, and we have created new funnels, though not particularly the way I would like, but those decisions were not mine to make.

We now have an existing audience but mostly Web2 users.

So how do we begin marketing Free ads online that include an Escrow Service and the ability to exchange goods and services for Tether (USDT)?

We have had about a thousand users using it without any advertising or promotion, but most of these are existing users. (A very small portion of an actual user base of 3 million +-)

What direction should be the next step to attract new users and people who are already familiar with Web3 tech and crypto?

We have considered an affiliate program, but we do not actually earn money except for a VERY small fee when people use the Escrow Services and that only covers our gas fees.

What direction would you take?

    Do you have access to the data to show you where they're coming from? (referrer locations)

    [QUOTE=Anomaly1974;11742872][SNIP]but most of these are existing users. (A very small portion of an actual user base of 3 million +-)[/SNIP]

    Again, do you have access to the data that shows where they came from, how they engaged with your content, how this 3M+ market was measured, and more relevant, up-to-date details about this market?

    Getting factually correct, up-to-date ansers to the questions I mentioned above allows you to know better the following things:
    • Who your target audience is;
    • Where they go, what apps and device they use to search, view, engage, talk about and share relevant content;
    • How they search, view, engage, talk about and share relevant content;
    • What grabs their attention enough to compel them to search, view, engage, talk about and share relevant content; and
    • What they're likely to do that's mutually beneficial for them and you as a seller?

    Once you have relevant, up-to-date answers to those questions, then you'll be able to shape your content marketing, advertising, conversion optimization, sales conversion tweaking, referral-generation approach and repeat sales strategy.

      It is an international site for free ads so pretty variable audience.

      I have access to all the data, but we have visitors from all over the world, primarily US, UK, India and Malaysia for the top of the list.

      About 84% is new traffic, only about five percent routinely using the free ads on a regular basis.

      Roughly 60-40 male to female audience.

      Over 80 percent use cell phones.

      Our target audience is anyone buying and selling online. However, those that are doing so at present are primarily using fiat. With the inclusion of the Tether (USDT) we can now offer Web3 Escrow and the ability to exchange in Crypto, so that is the new audience we are working to target.

      The question is where do you find web3 users, crypto-enthusiasts, and others, who want to use free ads. Sales conversion is not necessary as we do not take commissions. Just looking to dip into the Crypto and Web3 markets.

      We are not trying to determine our current audience, that is well recorded. We are trying to attract new audiences and extend our reach.

      Hope that helps.
      Thank you.

        Partner with bloggers in the crypto currency world?
        Influencers who're (at least in part) crypto investors/ enthusiasts?

        Yes. That's exactly what I'm referring to when I mentioned that the initial things to learn more about, especially from your existing data, is your new target audience. There are direct and lateral stuff where your previous, existing and new target markets meet.

        Not sure if you aren't seeing overlaps in your previous, existing and new target markets? That's what I'm saying -- Maximize the utility of your current available resources.

        Yes, it does. It helped me clarify my points in my previous post here in your thread. But that's just it though -- I'm not saying anybody'd be able to make good use of it. But my objective is, it could.

    We have created new funnels and cleaned up the email lists for the most part. I don't particularly like how they turned out, but those were not my choices.
