I was just wondering how many people have been using InText ads on their website/blog. I honestly didn't know about them until recently and i'm becoming more and more interested.

If you don't know, they are ads that popup only after a user hovers over a double-underlined word. Usually the ad will be relevant to the keywords (sometimes--as with KONTERA--they are NOT RELEVANT)

I was using kontera before, and I found that they were highlighting strange words that didn't have ANYTHING to do with my content.

I wasn't getting conversions and I was getting angry. So, I switched to Admanage. They, apparently, have just gotten a new scanning system that "revolutionizes" targeting ads.

I've been pretty happy so far, but only time will tell.

There have been a lot of complaints about in text ads themselves however. I'm hoping I don't lose website traffic. I like it better than pop-ups or banner ads though.

I'm about to sign an IO with Kontera...hmmm. Now you have me thinking. Was your conversion significantly lower with Kontera than say other intext advertising mediums?

I tried intext ads on many blogs but didn't get good result like 300x250 or leaderboard banners.

Suraj, did you use Kontera or one of the other large intext ad platforms?
