Spinnning = This is when you use automatic software to rewrite an article, however these auto rewrites arnt usually of great quality, and can I have seen some that produce errors with gramatical errors

Rewrite = This is when are writer rewords an article, so you have the original + the new reworded one, and tends to be more naturally rewritten.

    Example
    original: Networking_now is the best
Rewrite: The best person ever is Networking_now.

^personally they both arnt far from the truth!

Unique content = This is when you write brand new content, which isnt copied or stolen, and is 100% original.

    Unique stuff is good

Are rewrites considered unique content by google?

For example, say you are in a micro niche and there is only so much information to give about that certain niche, but you need more content.

You obviously want unique content right?
But what if it is impossible and you must go with the rewrite?

      Thank you.

Unique content means the words are not the same. So if you take an article and rewrite it in your own words it would be considered unique. I think the safe bit is a 40% uniqueness of any article before its considered a duplicate.

If you are going to use the rewrite on your website google will see it as unique. Just make sure that the article is 40 - 50% rewritten.

yea rewrites are considered unique, just make sure it is reworded thoroughly, rather than a few words reworded. like the others say, 40%-50% different from the original, then you should get away with that.

All 3 are the same but you are bound to get different opinions...

Spinning - Using a human controlled spinner all the words are "YOURS" and not some pre-set database. Thus it is unique...

Re-Write - Same as spinning more or less but you do it manually, again this is unique if you are the one doing the rewritting...

Unique - This is your own article that you have written..

I do not see how spinning will work. It is hard to believe any type of software can write as clearly as a human. A computer doesn't have a brain.

    But I might be wrong.

You're right there are junky spinners... Not everyone is created the same, some are actually created to allow the authors to use their own words and not some pre-set database...

        Thank you for posting that.
        That cleared that up.

Can you tell me of some good human powered article spinners?

Some spinning software takes a great deal of human input and the duplicates end up flawless as a result. It does take a bit of work (maybe more than rewriting it yourself once), but if you're writing 40 copies of an article to send to 40 article directories it saves quite a bit of time without degrading quality.

It's all about length of replacement. If you replace single words, you'll get crap. Replace phrases, you get something a bit better. Replace entire sentences, it's not bad. Replace PARAGRAPHS... and you've really got something.

Of course, it's best to replace the entire article, which is where you cross the border into "rewrites."

There are some spinners that allow you to choose your words to replace. You get to choose from a list once to click on a specific word that you want to replace.

In that respect, the article can actually make sense and, in effect, be unique.

Here is a really useful tool for rewriting to see how unique your new article is: Words Checker

It's not hard to get 40% unique in a rewrite, and google will see it as unique content.
