Is there a written word equivalent to YouTube?

Hey Warriors,

I am looking for a written word equivalent to YouTube. A platform that shares ad revenue with writers like YouTube shares ad revenue with YouTube creators.

Back in the day, there was Infobarrel but not sure if there is anything similar these days.

Many thanks!

I don't know anything about them but Medium.com (I think) has something like this if I understand what I've heard about it.

Viewers pay for a subscription to read content and then Medium shares the $ somehow.

This may be a dead end because like I said I am not really familiar with them.

Mark has already mentioned Medium. These 2 sites will also pay you for your content:

1.Simily.co - you get paid $20 per 1000 views. $10 is the minimum payout so you need atleast 500 views.
    2. Vocal.media - You get paid $3.80 per 1000 views. On the low side. If you upgrade to Vocal+ program, you get paid $6 per 1000 views. But you pay $9.99 per month. $35 minimum cash out. ($20 for vocal+)

A site that pays a little better is Scripted.com. 6.5 cents per word. It's more of a jobs site though and they are quite picky on who gets accepted.

Medium, Voice Media, Hubpages and Wattpad will all pay you for writing, but I haven't heard of any that share ad revenue.
