Now THIS is weird.........

hi

on friday i set up a hubpage and a lens for the same product. both have a reasonable amount of content and variety.

within 20 hours, i was able to pick up the lens on a google search.

only today, i was able to pick up the hub.

but now the lens has disappeared !

the lens is still on squidoo, both the lens and contain more than 500 words of content, nothing unusual to make the 900 lbs gorilla called google jump up and down.

no other links to either of them.

WTF ? anybody had similar experiences ?

    Google Dance often mixes new lenses around for a while.. hit it with some backlinks and maybe socialbookmark it.. it'll stabilise soon enough

    This is a common occurrence with Google. They do an on/off dance with new listings... but it will come back. You're not alone.

    Yes, throw a couple of articles up and link to your lens from these, also link from a few other sources.

    I've had my sites jump around the front page of the serps for a good few weeks at a time. 5, 3, 10, 3, 2, 1, 3, 2... and on we go.
