And nothing is more sweeter than sales notification. And if it's initial sale then it's even better.
Today, I was too happy to get sales notification in email.
I logged into my account and saw this...

What a feeling.
Now, I plan to multiply this by 100 to 1000 times...

How do you feel when you make a sale? Comment and let us know.

  • I feel good, like most people. Even if it's a common occurence when you wake up everyday. How do you plan on scaling and multiplying your sales by 100?

My first online sale was in December of 2011 and I still love those notifications. I made sales for $100Ks "IRL" before that, but somehow that $20 online sale felt better. It was from a sales page linked to from my signature right here on the forum...the forum was a different beastie back then, but the principles remain the same today.

One afternoon out for a 45 minute walk with the dogs I received three notifications of sales of my $297 (at the time) training call. "Ding-da-dingDing!" my iphone 4 sounded, falling over itself in its eagerness to inform me. There were a few other times in those early years where I received simultaneous sales notifications. It was fun.

How sweet it is. (Tip of hat to Jackie Gleason).
    Congrats.

There is something sweeter...the latest sale. The notification THIS morning, after 35 years of continuous online selling...is just as sweet as the first one was, three and a half decades ago. Now, keep it going, scale it, toss it, mark it with a $, and continue to have fun on your journey.

And away you go. Congrats again.

It's so sweet indeed, I agree, the first and the last.

Now, I was wondering what were you selling "online" 35 years ago?

That might have been on AOL or something, I guess. And that also means you are much older than me lol

Only DIRT is older then me, but not by much. Back in the day of Bulletin Boards, 4 baud modems, pre Internet, it was mostly computer parts, pieces, some software and wires. There was NO spam, until Sanford Wallace showed up. My first Information product, sent via USPS mail in a brown plain envelope was: How to start a cult for fun and profit.

I won't swear to it, but I think our best seller was a dual printer connector, or an Apple II memory card...a lot of expansion and hook up cables too.

By the time AOL rolled around, a guy named Marlon Sanders persuaded me that the new ONLINE was going to be the happening place...and I thank him everyday for it.

          What?

I too started during the pre-internet BBS/modem dial-up era, but "4 baud" modem? Might be a sarcasm lol never heard of 4 bauds modem, while it's certainly not impossible. When I started in 91 the fastest modem there was and that I also owned was 1500 baud. Crap 4 bauds might have been slow I feel your pain lol

And yeah, the good ol' no SPAM days, well, that's if you did not connect to newsgroups

Seeing a sales notification is a great feeling especially if it's your first one or that it took you weeks or months to generate.

I feel happy just like most people and this shows that atleast I'm progressing.
Next thing I do after this is to check my statistics. This helps to find what is working and worth putting more time into to get more sales notification.

It's a great feeling. I think a big part of it, is knowing what you've put into getting there.

Bro, there's nothing that gets my heart racing and my blood pumping like making a sale! It's like scoring the game-winning touchdown, hitting a walk-off home run, and acing a final exam all rolled into one. The rush of excitement and satisfaction is unmatched. #saleslife #cantstopwontstop

It is very difficult to put into words, how i actually felt, you go thrugh the process you look at many business opportunites, thinking is this legit, does really work, will they actually pay you, how does it all work, what do i need to do to actually make sales, do i have the necessary skills to make it work, but we all have to start somewhere, but when we do start working, everyone that starts out works so so hard, just hoping that is it all worth it, sometimes with many late late nights, and then one day you phones goes a notification, and that big smile is beaming from your face YOU HAVE MADE A COMMISION, then you this this ACTUALLY works, and you never stop, its an amazing feeling, and thanks for sharing this, it reminds me how i felt years ago.
