Google Sniper Question

For those of you who have gotten your sites up, how do you go about finding niches that have less than the 7000 competition that George mentions?
I have been spending hours trying to come up with a Clickbank product that doesn't have much competition but enough searches to make it worthwhile but is there a better approach to finding the 3K keywords that George recommends?

Start diving into the sub niches...

If you're trying for the main keyword
like "weight loss" or "Forex Trading",
then you'll have a very hard time
    finding anything under 7K.

    Dig deeper.

What else are people searching for
    in the weight loss niche?

What products are they searching for?

There are some great software programs
out there - and there's always the Google
Search tool that'll help you get some sub
niche ideas that get far less searches than
    the main category.

    Another example....

    Trucks - main
Truck bed cover - a sub
black spray on truck bed covers - micro sub

A main niche can have many subs and
    many micro subs.

Dig deeper. It's like mining for gold.

Stop thinking about digging, grab your shovel and just start digging. Keep your eyes open, good things come with a little time and patience.

Start broad and move deeper into the catergory adding an extra keyword to each term to pick out a niche to market.

think of it like a pyramid. top of the pyramid is the most general non specific keyword like "officer". dig one tear into the niche you might get something like

    police offier then.
    houston texas police officer

the list goes on and on...the reason is the more you dig into each area the less competition and searches you are going to find.

The true trick is the find the middle ground to stop digging to where the competition is under 100K and the search volume is 5K a month.

You will find alot of niches that are not worth it because competition is to high or search volume is too low.

Use Google Wonder Wheel to tap into niches.

Type in the word officer into Google then hit the "show options" tab in Google then wonder wheel and let the niches fly.

    Best of luck

  • Keep in mind that CB commissions are higher than physical commissions. You can generally make $35-30 per sale with CB products. Here is a hint based on that. You do not need as much traffic with sniper sites, as you do with amazon or ebay sites. It wouldnt hurt for you to go after keywords with less competition.

If you use a keyword research tool like Market Samurai or Micro Niche, it will save you hours, upon hours of research.
