Article writing, can I direct link?

Hello, guys.

I have been working with PPC and Media Buyings, but I would like to start writing articles in the next weeks. However, since I'm a newbie when it comes to article writing, I have an "idiot question"...

Can I put affiliate links in my articles (or resource box). For example, can I put hoplinks point to a Clickbank product, or I should point to a landing page and never direct link?

Different article directories have different rules.

If you are working with EzineArticles - then the only way you can have an affiliate link is you buy a domain name and redirect the domain name to your affiliate link. It has to be a top level domain name - no subdomains, and no internal pages on a domain.

Other articles directories do allow affiliate links - you need to read the rules for each specific one.

  No subdomains? I've seen people put www.domain.com/blog/. 've done that too and I didn't get caught.

I think sub-domains are accepted for linking in EZA
as long as it's not an aff link.
