do the ultra successful internet marketers participate in this forum?

I was wondering this the other day... I def am a fan of this forum, but most participants are complete newbies or do IM for hobby. I wonder how many ppl here actually make a substantial income online. Naturally, one would think that if they did they wouldn't come on here sharing the recipe to their 'secret sauce'

just a thought, Im not even sure I agree with myself haha

I noticed that a lot of the successful people here have less than 200 posts. What does that have to do with anything?

Simple. They are out working on stuff instead of spending all day on a forum.

I'm slowly learning to partition my time on the WF. I come here when its break time, rather than 'work time'

Some ultra-successful marketers participate here sometimes. Usually when they have a big product launch coming up and want to sell it to newbies

"Ultra-successful" is such a subjective term. I suspect that the long-term, regular contributors to this forum wouldn't measure up to your definition. I'm sure I wouldn't

I have no desire for Lamborghini's or private island estates. When I started out more than five years ago, all I wanted was to be my own boss. I have succeeded. I make my living entirely from internet marketing and have for some time now.

Because I am not driven to "ultra-success", I have time, now and then, to post here

Most people don't like bragging about their wealth anyway. Those who do usually are telling porky-pies anyway :p

Follow the knowledge that helps you. It doesn't matter who it comes from. Analyse it yourself and take what you didn't know before, verify it, then adapt it for your own success.

Maybe that's the key. Keep your mouth shut and earn. Don't share anything cause within second's it's abused.

So true. I'm realizing that too many times, people concentrate on "how to get the money" and not "getting the money". It really comes down to doing what you love. For example, a really successful singer doesn't spend a lot of time in singing forums trying to figure out the secret. A successful singer sings....all the time, and thinks about singing all of the time. In the same way, a successful internet marketer is marketing, constantly. Because they enjoy it.

Once you forget you're doing something for money, you get the money.

I have seen some very big names post here, more than a few times. I don't see them all the time as I am sure they are busy, but there are a few of the giants that are contributers from time to time.

But in addition to that, there are many that earn six figures and even higher, that post on a fairly regular basis. I was in a conversation through PMs during this past weekend, with a fellow here that made over $1.5 million from one of his web sites, in one month. Now he has been a member for about a year and I saw a video of him looking at his stats, so I believe that he was telling me the truth about his income.

So to answer your question; yes they do belong to this forum.

If by "ultra successful", you mean people who are well known in this community, then yes. I've seen Mike Filsaime, Frank Kern, Willie Crawford and several other well known internet marketers make posts occasionally, sometimes just in response to threads about them or their products. I'm betting the reason they don't post much is because they're busy running their businesses and living their lives to come hang out in forums.

I mean, look at why most other people use the forum:

    1. To learn new ideas and methods for making money.

    2. To learn about new trends in the industry.

    3. To promote their products.

    4. To share new ideas or insights.

    5. Boredom.

For people who are already generating a large income from their business, they don't necessarily need new ideas or methods for making money. Those people often ARE the trendsetters in the industry. They can promote their products through their own channels, such as their blogs, websites and email lists. They can share their ideas and insights with their blog readers and list subscribers, which they can monetize more easily than they can on someone else's forum. And...well, hopefully they can come up with better stuff to do when they're bored, like make little stick figure army men out of folded up hundred dollar bills. That's what I'd do, anyway.

    Just kidding! Or am I?
