Does anyone sell text links? Could be some big money...

Whats up Warriors?

I was wondering if anyone here sells text links on their own affiliate marketing websites?

I know that the big Google will de-index your site if you are caught selling them, but what if you did it completely anonymously and were really slick with adding the links?

I have a ton of websites with PR2-3, and I think the going rate for a text link on a site like that is $5-10/m.

Now if you were to add just, say 7 links per site, that would be on average another $50/m per site I own.

Multiplied across a network of 40+ sites and I could be looking at an extra $2,000/m with barely any work on my end.

Yes, I might have to keep up with the payments and all of that, but I can get my programmer to write a script that checks them constantly.

Does anyone do this?

Thank you,
Daniel Brock

Selling 7 links times 40 sites would take some work

    • Yeah....I was rethinking my idea.

It would take some time to hunt down the buyers for it.

      But once you have them...

Yes true to a point. I offer featured site listings on one of my directories.

They are subscription basis. When money gets tight (like now), customers cancel subscription payments.

Try and ad in DP and see if there are any takers.
  • Dp is good for what you are looking for
  • Of course if a Google employee happens across this thread all of your hard work may go down the tubes
This is the warrior forum, one of the biggest and the best, and I imagine Google has someone keep an eye out for new and old concerns
