INTERNET MARKETING

Hi Warriors,
I am setting up a membership website with yearly subscription fees. I also want to launch an affiliate program to get more people selling my membership. Also what payment methods do you recommend? Paypal, 2checkout or something else?

What is your recommendation as what to do here? I use Drupal on some parts of my website so not sure if I can use this or not?

I would say, pay close attention to the merchant provider's terms. Paypal is not very biz opps friendly, they don't like MLM or safe list biz opps, to name a few. I have not had good experiences with 2checkout.

I really like Alertpay. Apart from that a merchant account that is cool with MLM.

Why don't you use clickbank or paydotcom?
They both have affiliate programs.

Clickbank is probably the best way to go, because their affiliate network is giant and people will be more prone to promote your stuff because they know they will get paid.

Get a specialist merchant account and payment processor. Avoid Paypal as they are almost guarenteed to limit your account if you get any complaints.

I personally have had good experience with 2co but maybe that's just mean.

If you want a self-hosted affiliate program, get idev affiliate but if you want to reach a wider group, go with Clickbank.

If you want to run your own affiliate program, you could look into the Membership version of the Rapid Action Profits plugin but I think that using ClickBank as your processor/affiliate module is something to seriously look at.

I have two membership sites myself but neither have an affiliate program. For my next, I am planning on using CB but that's just because it fits my model.
